AWESOME. AWESOME. AWESOME.

That is my thought when I know there is a new KA novel for me to curl up and crawl into!! With Motorcycle Man being one of my favorite KA novels I knew there was about zero chance that I would not love the Chaos Series!! And HOLY HOT BIKERS - was I right!! 

True to KA form Parker 'Shy' Cage is a badass alpha biker through and through! Now, that aside, because I love all of the badass alpha men in these stories, I absolutely love when I discover that I love the heroine just as much!! She is totally kick ass too!

Tabitha Allen has had a thing for Shy since she was sixteen years old. But as the daughter of the president of the club she knew it was a long shot for Shy to even notice her let alone want her. That said, having grown up in the club she is loved by all the brothers of course but in her teenage years kinda goes off the rails and the boys often get called out to retrieve her from certain unsavory situations.

When Shy goes gets her from a party when she is nineteen things get a bit ugly between them and that pretty much drives a wedge between them for years. Tabby finds love and is getting married and moving on with her life. Tragedy drives her back to Shy because she needs a friend, even though they both want more. Tabby and Shy finally make there way to 'more than friends' - thank god! Que the smokin' hot sex, one of may favorite parts of KA's books! Bad Ass Alpha Sex! :) Anyway, they find there way together and it is not an easy ride! They knew they would face scrutiny simply because Tabby is Tack's daughter and Shy has always been kind of a dog, with a flair for threesomes! But as with all these wonderful books there is drama, love(the completely melt your heart kind) and sex and fun!! All works out for the HEA, which is what we all want! 

“I never dreamed any fuckin' dream," he whispered, and the smile faded from her face as tears filled her eyes.

"Didn't dream it, saw it, waited my time, and then you gave it to me.” 

I will end with I loved this book and I love everything that Kristen Ashley writes, she is totally rocks and is an auto buy for me!! This is a wonderful start to another kick as series!! PLEASE bring on more Chaos Motorcycle Club!!! Oh, and I almost forgot, if you are already a KA fan, this book was like a great big reunion at times, you get to spend a little time at Fortnum's book store with some old friends and we also got to visit with a but if the Dream Man series hotties! So go forth and enjoy my friends!!

As Sonia attempts to adjust, not entirely successfully, Callum attempts to cope with the knowledge that his mate is mortal. He will have her beauty and gentleness only the length of a mortal life and as werewolves only have one mate their entire lives, their union for him is unbearably bitter as well as unbelievably sweet.

Then he finds that due to her illness, her human life will be even shorter and he is forced to endure the increased bitter while doing everything he can to make Sonia’s short life incredibly sweet.

  I LOVE KRISTEN ASHLEY!!! I LOVE HER, I LOVE HER, I LOVE HER!!!

Callum is the King of Werewolves, Big, Bad, HOT, Sexy ALPHA!! The End!!

Just kidding, though it could be and that would be enough for you to pick this book up! :) - Seriously though, this is the second book in The Three series and it was oh so good!

Again, Callum is the King of Werewolves and has known about his mate since she was a child. The kicker is she is HUMAN! When she is just a little girl, she protects Cal from some hunters the night her parents are killed. Sonia, sorry, forgot to mention her name, now Sonia has a few abilities of her own but has always been told to hide them carefully. She knows nothing of Cal or the wolves or any of this business and simpley goes on about her life, albeit her somewhat lonely life.

The night Cal comes to her and takes her away to claim her did not go as planned. Her life was threatened and he was forced to proceed. He has never been crazy about having a human mate and let me tell you their long road to learning how to deal with each other had so many bumps even I was really starting to feel for them. As I said Cal is soooo Alpha that he even got on my nerves on occasion by not taking into account how much Sonia DID NOT know about his people, his culture or anything! But he is, like all KA's Alphas so sweet and amazing under all that rough that you just melt like a puddle of goo and all is forgiven! You know what I mean girls!!

“I loved you before you took your first breath on this earth because that was my fate but you made me love you because you’re just… fucking… you.”

Seriously...like you could resist that??!

Of course, as KA always does, she runs our emotions through the ringer(have I mentioned I love her)and when I finish one of her books I for one am thoroughly satisfied!!

This series is a three book series, for anyone who doesn't know, so please don't read this one until you have read Until The Sun Falls From The Sky as it is book one and (yay) we get to visit with Lucien and Leah a little towards the end of this book :) I can't wait for book three to see exactly how this series will conclude. Because in this book as well as the first, even if you think you have it all figured out KA throws a few curve balls in there every now and then!!

Creed (#2) By Kristen Ashley

So on Sylvie's eighteenth birthday, they've decided to meet at their special place and disappear.

But Sylvie goes to their special place, Creed never shows and she doesn't see him again until it's too late.

Way too late.

  5+ Giant, Rocking Stars!!

OK, It’s official Creed and Sylvie are my favorite KA couple!! I know it seems like I say that in every KA review, but let me clarify. I have my favorite KA stories, my favorite KA badass alpha hero’s, but this is these two are my favorite KA couple!!

Creed and Sylvie have THAT love, you know the one I’m talking about, the love that knows no limits on time, distance, life’s hurdles(as friggin’ extreme as they may be) – For lack of a better term, they are each other’s Lobsters(yes, random Friends reference, haha)!!! The horrible circumstances that separated them 16 years ago has nothing on the amazing love between these two!!

"I’m not what you want Sylvie, I get that because it’s the same for you as it is for me. I’m not what you want ‘cause I’m what you need."

Now, Sylvie is one badass chick and I loved her from the very beginning – she was rough at first but as you read you find out exactly why, and exactly why she was resistant to let Creed back into her life. But she did and, well, as you can imagine, that turned out amazingly! These two sizzle right off of the pages. Creed, of course is your typical KA hot, sexy, bossy alpha male that you just want to eat with a spoon and some hot sauce, but to top it all off he is head over heels, off the rails, in love with Sylvie …the tattoo, the green, frozen snickers.…*swoon*

To prove this, I have to share a conversation that is typical KA and the reason I love her books and her hero’s so much…incidentally, this made me laugh right out loud!

“You take it up the ass. You like to be spanked. And you
swallow. Seriously, Sylvie, you were born for me,” he muttered.
I lifted my head and looked at him. “That was hardly hearts and
flowers.”
Creed grinned at me. “A man finds a woman who swallows, that
alone, for a guy, is totally fuckin’ hearts and flowers.”

Another thing I have to point out that I loved about this book (among so many things I can’t name them all) was the love and respect between Knight and Sylvie, at times it made my heart ache!

So I guess, to should wrap this up, as you all know that I could go on and on and on about Kristen Ashley books, but that would ruin the amazing experience for you when you read her!

 

 

Breathe (#4) By Kristen Ashley

Pure and clean Faye may be, but when the shy librarian is forced to go head to head with the man who she's had a crush on since he hit her hometown, Chace finds Faye is full of surprises. And he doesn't know what to do with her.

 

Holly's Review:

I have to come right out and say,everything Kristen Ashley touches turns to GOLD! When a dear friend of mine plainly stated that KA has ruined her for all other authors I find that I completely understand this! All of that said, I am going to humbly admit that since the Colorado Mountain Series was my first KA venture, I am ashamed to say that for a brief moment I couldn't remember Chace and Faye. Yes, I said it, get all of your boo-ing out of the way now. But... it only took me about 1 page to find myself right back in Carnal and holy shit did it all come rushing back!

Chace Keaton was the town hero when he exposed the dirty police force in his town in Lady Luck when his wife was brutally murdered, a wife he despised mind you, but his wife nonetheless. Although Chace sees himself as anything but a hero, in fact he feels as though he is drowning in the dark as he calls it, part of his attempting to get clean is his continuing search for his late wife's killer and while doing this he becomes entangled with the one woman he want's more than anything.

Faye Goodnight has loved Chace Keaton since she was 16 years old and has watched him what she feels is from afar, little does she know that Chace has loved her for almost as long. Now knowing that his marriage was blackmail at it's worst, Faye sets about making him hers. Now, to say this starts off rocky for the quiet, seemingly shy, 29 year old virgin is putting it mildly but things quickly heat up. Being the town librarian Faye is a geek of the best kind, in fact, I do believe she and I would get along famously, but anyway, as the town librarian she notices a boy coming in to the library dirty and beaten and he runs when she tries to approach him. Faye knows he needs help and she enlists Chace to help her find out what the frak is going on. As with all of KA's wonderful stories, this means the whole town and then some take Chace and Faye's backs to right a terrible wrong they know is happening. There are bad guys, good guys, hot sex, lots of geek references, lots of love and an amazing towns support and loyalty!

I could go on and on and on about how much I love Ms. Ashley, her books, the characters, the towns, etc but I will stop here because if you have never picked up one of her books stop what you are doing right now and go get one....or all of them! If you have read her then you totally get me! You will love Chace, a smokin' hot Alpha, and Faye, a kickass, geek librarian who show us there is nothing better than Holding Out for a Hero - I promise you!!

 

Knight (The Unfinished Heroes #1) By Kristen Ashley

Anya Gage has learned that to get anything good in life, you have to work for it. She has no expectations, no dreams.

Then she finds herself at a party where she doesn’t want to be and she meets Knight.

Knight Sebring knows who he is, what he wants and what he likes. And he gets it. But he never expected something as sweet as Anya Gage to wander into his bedroom during a party he did not expect to be having to borrow his phone.

Knight tries to leave Anya to the life she deserves of white picket fences and a man who watches football on Sundays – good, normal and clean. But when Anya comes to his nightclub and finds herself in a situation, he knows someone has to look after her, he can’t fight it anymore and he decides that man will be him.

Knight teaches Anya that, just as with the bad, in life you should also expect the good. And he teaches her this by giving it to her.

But Knight has a dark past and just as he desires Anya for exactly who she is, he fears when she finds out exactly the man he has become and always intends to be, she’ll leave him for good, normal and clean.

Holly's Review:

Kristen Ashley has totally done it again! Knight is the most amazing hero anti hero I have ever read! He is just a real guy with flaws and issues, oh except he is freaking gorgeous, rich and oh so intense! This story sucked me in just like every other KA story but I loved the addition of erotica and light BDSM in this one.

Knight and Anya we absolutely delicious together and I especially love how her love for him made is so she could just hang the fuck on whenever she learned something about her man that maybe skirted the edges of social acceptability. The sex was intense and fabulous, now I am never one to judge what two consenting adults do in the throes of sexual bliss, so even though some people have mentioned having problems with the fact that Knight wanted Anya to call him Daddy, I am not one of those people! I say do what makes you feel good baby! And having said that, after listening to the amazing dirty talk coming out of Knight’s incredible mouth I would call him any damn thing he wanted me to!

I have to thank my dear friend Dhes for heavily pimping this book, loved it babe! I hate that I have to wait for the next in this series because, well, I am not really a patient person - But, wait I will because the Unfinished Hero’s Series is going to be amazing if this debut is anything to go by!!

Since birth, Lexie Berry has been Lady Luck’s favorite toy and because of that, Lexie is cautious. But within a day, she senses Ty is something special. With her luck, however, she can’t trust it. Then she finds out what was done to Ty and she’s willing to do anything to make it right.

Even what Ty will never forgive her for doing.

Ty clings to vengeance and Lexie goes all out to give him back the time he lost. But Ty is battling demons within and they’re up against dirty cops and criminals who will stop at nothing to sway Lady Luck against them. All Ty and Lexie have is hope Lady Luck will finally swing their way.

Holly's Review:

  I read this entire series without reviewing the first two but I can't let this one go by with out speaking! I loved this book, the entire series for that matter but I think this one in particular not because of the oh so deliciously Alpha hero, but the absolutely amazing heroine!! Lexie is effing fantastic! It isn't very often that the heroine of the story is the one I love the most, but, sorry Ty, Lexie is one rockin' awesome chick! From the moment she picks Ty up outside of the prison she doesn't take any shit, which is awesome because at that point Ty was one scary mother! This book along with the others in this series seemed to have it all. Hot sexy Alpha's, strong sassy heroine's, a little mystery and intrigue, oh, and smoking hot sex!!

 Now, all that said, I have to point out one small pet peeve in this book. Now, while I get that this is just how Ty is portrayed to speak I really did cringe every time he referred to women as pussy. Never woman, women or any other words used for the female population, we were just all pussy and this bugged me. But, as you can see obviously not enough to knock this great book from a 5 star status but I had to mention it :)

 This is my first foray into Kristen Ashley's books and I am not ashamed to say that as soon as I finished the first book in this series I went out an bought all of her other books!! Wonderful, emotional and absolutely delicious writing. Keep 'em coming!
