Hot Ticket By Olivia Cunning (#3)

Hot Ticket (Sinners on Tour, #3) Fourth in Olivia Cunning's hard-rockin' erotic romance series, Hot Ticket delves into the oh-so-skilled sensuality of Sinners' enigmatic bass guitarist, Jace Seymour.

When Jace walked through the doors of Aggie's dungeon, the last thing he expected was to find self-forgiveness and the love of a remarkable woman. But when a terrible accident sidelines Jace during the band's tour, the burdensome chains of his past wrap ferociously around his heart. Determined to crack through Jace's armored shell, Aggie must go beyond her usual methods to mend his heart to love again.

Grace's Review:

Sinners, Sinners. Sinners!!!
Jace, Jace, Jace!!!

I love the Sinners and this series! Hot Ticket was freaking amaze-balls! WOW! It is extremely emotional, full of angst, absolutely rockin', and hot hot hot as expected. I should begin by mentioning that I have NOT read Double Time yet. Yeah, I know, I just really, really want to read this series in order. So far, Hot Ticket is my favorite in the series. After getting to know the Sinners in Backstage Pass, I just knew Jace's story was going to be big. He is “Little Man”, the newest Sinner, the soft-spoken one, and we were treated to glimpses of his kinky side.

“Have you been naughty, Jace? Do you need a spanking?”

“Hurt me, Mistress V. Please, hurt me.”

The beginning of Hot Ticket overlaps with events that occur in book 2, Rock Hard. So, we get to see the stuff that happened in Vegas through Aggie and Jace's eyes. It was actually really nice to revisit certain scenes from a different viewpoint. Aggie is a dominatrix who is good at what she does, and of course, Jace is very much interested in her services. Their first session together turns into something unbelievably eye-opening for both of them. It is the first time we get an idea that Jace's emotional pain runs pretty deep. Oh, boy, does it!

“Your beauty steals my breath,” he murmured. “Your kiss steals mine.”

Aggie has become my favorite heroine in this series. I haven't met Reagan yet, so I can't compare, but I loved getting to know Aggie. She's fearless, patient, and understands Jace's need for physical pain. She also doesn't take any crap he throws her way. She doesn't take crap from anyone! I think the other band members were scared of her, LOL! When Jace finally spills about his past, my heart just completely broke for him! :( Aggie knew how to break him down so that he could finally open his heart. They truly did connect on so many levels. Their intimate scenes...explosive, sensual, pretty darn HOT! Hello, there's some ménage deliciousness, too!

Hot Ticket showed a lot of really good interaction between all the band members. This is why I love this series so much. Even if the story focuses on certain characters, Olivia Cunning weaves in the band's camaraderie so well. There were on-the-road bonding moments, hilarious ROFL moments (love all the new tats *bursts out laughing*), even the amazing connection they share on stage during their concert was fun to see. All along Eric has been saying that the new album they've been working on is cursed. Maybe he's right, who knows. I certainly wasn't expecting some of the things to happen, but in the end all the shit they deal with only brings them closer together.

Eric's new nickname for Jace is more accurate, yeah? God, I love these two! I have a feeling Eric's story is going to be wicked awesome! I can't wait! Eric Sticks needs a great big hug from everyone.

All you Sinners groupies better read Hot Ticket, because Jace has got a lot of stuff to unload. Gotta love the guy. :)

Great review, Gracie! I've only read book one in the series. I started book two, but never finished it. Are these stand alone? Plus, I get confused with the order they are written. This was the fourth book released, but it states it's the third one. Weird. Anyway, I think I might just jump to this one soon :)

Here's the reading order, Tessa. Backstage Pass, Rock Hard, Hot Ticket, Wicked Beat (not yet released), Double Time. Although Double Time was released last year, it is the last book of the series, which is why I haven't read it yet. I think you could get away with skipping to this one, but I really loved book 2 as well. You have got to see what Sed & Jessica do in Vegas, LOL! Plus, a lot of stuff happens to Trey in book 2.
