Sins & Needles by Karina Halle Blog Tour and Giveaway!

Ellie Watt is used to starting over. The daughter of a grifting team, Ellie spent her childhood being used as a pawn in her parents' latest scam. Now she’s much older, wiser and ready to give her con artist life a rest. But returning to the dry desert town of Palm Valley, California means one more temptation than she bargained for – Camden McQueen. Once known as the high school weirdo, Camden is bigger and badder than the boy he used to be and a talented tattoo artist with his own thriving business. Ellie’s counting on Camden still being in love with her but what she’s not counting on is how easily unrequited love can turn into obsession over time. When Camden discovers Ellie’s plan to con him, he makes her a deal she doesn’t dare refuse, but her freedom comes with a price and it’s one that takes both Ellie and Camden down a dangerous road.

**The Artists Trilogy is a dark and sexy contemporary ride about three flawed individuals caught in a world where it's so easy to justify the bad things we do. This is a pure adult read (Not YA or NA).

Rhonda's Review:

He was like a sculptor, whittling away my ugliness, leaving trails of beauty behind.

When you combine a con artist with a serious chip on her shoulder, and a all too sexy tattooed and pierced  tattoo artist that have a strained highschool past and are both running from their past since leaving their hometowm, and have run back to to their hometown in hopes of starting over..... You get Sins & Needles.

This book is just CRAZY GOOD!!  The more I read it the more I couldn't stop.  Sins & Needles just has so much going for it, and I’m here to tell you why I loved it so much!  Let’s begin with the plot, which I think the blurb does a great job of setting up the foundation of the story so I ‘m not going there, but when I first read the blurb I new I had to read this book because it just seemed different to me.  This story is  a fantastic ride in a Quentin Tarantino's True Romance kind of way.  I've been on a contemporary romance rampage lately and I’m so excited to add this book to my list of favorites.

Next there is Camden MacQueen………

“I’m just a tattoo artist. I’m just a guy who used to be in love with a girl. I’m just a fool who’s been fooled too many times before. I’m just a man who’s finally getting his revenge.”

I fell in love with Camden right away. I just loved that he was the high school weirdo that time was very good to and he turned into this sexy, built, tattooed HOTTIE  that is just a little bit crazy.  I adore crazy Camden!  I really enjoy how fun he is and such a free spirit that just needs to spread his wings.  I also love his loyalty and how he is willing to walk away from anything and in to any situation as long as it’s with Ellie.

"Holy shit, did Camden just spank me?"

Then we have Ellie Watt,  con artist extraordinaire……

“Is the gun really necessary?”  “No,”  he admitted. “Its just fun to have one.”  “Like an extra penis,” I mused.

Ellie is such a fun character, although she has deep seeded anger, betrayal and hurt that has driven who she has become.  But underneath the shady con artist is a really good person that has a good heart, but you know “bad habits die hard”.  Ellie is smart, cunning and completely lovable.

He studied me for a minute, as if memorizing every line on my face.  I let him.  And I did the same.  His quirky full lips, expressive brows, those eyes that knew me, the real me, for everything that I was and everything that I had been. Everything I would ever be.

Now, most of the action in this story involves the ex-boyfriend that Ellie is running from.    And I must say Javier is an interesting character that I’m curious to learn more about.  The author’s description of Javier is almost spellbinding.  Don’t get me wrong, I completely adore Camden, but I do want to know more about Javier.  So with that said, I need the next book NOW!!

Sins & Needles is cleverly written and enjoyed how it was woven together with the flashbacks and the current events.   So if you like your contemporary romance a little gritty, a lot sexy and full of action then this book is for you!!

“Are you scared?”  I asked him.  “I’m fucking terrified, Ellie.”

Karina Halle has been on my radar for quite some time,  and I’m so excited to finally have been given the chance to read her work and I’m so looking forward to more!! *rubs hands together*  BRING ON THE TERROR!!!!!

We decided to give 3 lucky winners the chance to read this book.  Ebooks will be gifted in winners choice of format.  ( Mobi, EPUB, or PDF)

Zombie Apocalypse ~ What nightmares are made of…
Have you ever had one of those dreams or nightmares that won’t let go of you? I had this scary wacky dream about zombies last night. It woke me up at 0230 from a dead sleep. It was the type that made it really hard to close my eyes again. I got up made sure the alarm was on and checked on the kids. I did fall back to sleep, but damn if that dream didn’t start again where it left off. That never happens when I want it too (hot man on the beach, ahem). No, never then. I woke up two more times after that. What was my subconscious trying to tell me? Apparently, it wanted me to know something or make a decision about something. But, really-- Zombies?
I was working on an interview prior to going to bed last night. The last question was-- what 3 things would you take with you to survive a Zombie Apocalypse? Apparently, my brain took that quite literally and dumped me in the middle of one. The power of suggestion – I love it.
I have a creative mind, thus the very reason I’m a writer. Sometimes my dreams help me flesh out a character, scene or plot line. Yes, I do have undead in my Key to the Cursed series, they’re called revens, cursed human souls. The zombies in my dream were high functioning and cunning. They were talking to me, which made it even scarier. A zombie that can outsmart you is not a good thing. They are much easier to handle when they are dull-minded flesh eaters, easy to kill and can’t sneak up on you with their shuffling slow gate.
I know that zombies are supposed to reflect our psychological fear of losing control—becoming mindless and unable to control our own destinies. Boy, that’s deep. LOL. In my dream my fear wasn’t about becoming “infected” but what these creatures could take from me – my loved ones, my supplies, my shelter. The fear of not being able to defend what was mine.
This revelation started me thinking about Kendra in Soul Awakened. She’s a petite little thing that has been protected her whole life. Her fears would not be much different than my own. She doesn’t have the physical strength like her sisters to fight off the revens. She has already lost her father to the curse. How can she defend what she holds dear?
My dream had the answer. It’s less about physical strength to ward off zombies. It’s intelligence which Kendra has an abundance. Fear is a good thing – it is a basic instinct that keeps us alive. Not unlike ourselves, characters in a novel need to be fearful of something. It’s this fear that makes them believable and real to us.
So, zombies – BEWARE!
So, in thanks for tolerating my psychological ramblings, I’m giving away an ebook copy of Soul Reborn, 1st book in the Key to the Cursed series. I want to thank Sam, Elena, and Rhonda (awesome ladies) for having me over to visit again. If you get a chance, check out Elena’s reviews of Soul Reborn and Soul Awakened. Hopefully, my revens won’t give you nightmares.
How to enter: Ever have a crazy dream or nightmare? If you don’t feel comfortable sharing, just tell me what 3 things you would take with you to survive a Zombie Apocalypse?
Oh, I almost forgot to mention, I have two huge giveaways going on for Soul Awakened’s release: Soul Awakened’s Book Tour Kindle Fire HD giveaway and 3-Goddess Book Release Kindle Paperwhite giveaway.

Vain By Fisher Amelie

VAIN If you’re looking for a story about a good, humble girl, who’s been hurt by someone she thought she could trust, only to find out she’s not as vulnerable as she thought she was and discovers an empowering side of herself that falls in love with the guy who helps her find that self, blah, blah, blah...then you’re gonna’ hate my story.

Because mine is not the story you read every time you bend back the cover of the latest trend novel. It’s not the “I can do anything, now that I’ve found you/I’m misunderstood but one day you’ll find me irresistible because of it” tale. Why? Because, if I was being honest with you, I’m a complete witch. There’s nothing redeeming about me. I’m a friend using, drug abusing, sex addict from Los Angeles. I’m every girlfriend’s worst nightmare and every boy’s fantasy.

I’m Sophie Price...And this is the story about how I went from the world’s most envied girl to the girl no one wanted around and why I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

 Elena's Review:

The year 2013,has started off with a great start for me,with the magnificent novels I've chosen to pick up to read. There are so many I have enjoyed, loved, and;am still having a hard time letting the stories, and characters go!

I now have many books on my top favorite lists. And this novel just hiked it's way up my list. It's different in so many ways. There's absolutely nothing about it that screams,"it's so cliche!" Far from it! This story was beyond alluring.

The Heroine, starts off as the most snobbish, inconsiderate, her-poop-doesn't-stink, persona, of a rich kid with everything at the palms of her hand. It's the first novel I have read in all my years, where the heroine isn't so sweet and lovable, and to think "what the.......? And she's the main character and its in her point of view?" Trust me,I thought the story was going to turn out to be just one of those books on my DIF-Shelf.I was beyond WRONG, for judging. Her character was put through the shredder, but all for a good cause.I still can't believe how much I've fallen for this snobbish rich girl, and yet, totally get her.Baffled is more so,of the word I should be using to describe my reactions, just....baffled.....It was well deserved.

Why,how, when, and where this story takes place and ends,is just so surreal! Once again, baffled, strung out, speechless. It was amazing, and so beautifully written.I'm having an "awe" moment right now.....Lolz!

Every character was very much loved and has a place in my heart and I'll never forget them. The parents on the other hand, need a wake up call but the heroines' dad, catches on. He deserves redemption. So just think of what I just said before judging him :)

If you like your stories,to have page turners that are full of anticipation, and you love the thrill of having your emotions swirled around you until you get the happily ever after that's deserved but you're not sure whether, you as the reader will get one? Then this story is for you!

AMAZING!!

Now get outta here, and go get your copy, take my word for it.I usually don't disappoint :P

Holly's Review:

I read this wonderful book at the insistence of one of my very dear friends, who I may add, has NEVER steered me wrong when it comes to the AWESOMENESS of books!! So really all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you E for the 'little nudge' to read this ASAP!! hahaha

I need to go on record saying this book is NOT what you think it is! It is not a love story, well ok, it sort of is but first and foremost it is a beautiful story of self-discovery! It is a story of how we are not what we are born in to, we are and can be SO MUCH MORE!!

The love story part is wonderful and our hero Ian Aberdeen is most definitely swoon worthy, but it was our heroine, Sophie Price that was really the amazing character in this story, IMHO! This blurb in the synopsis is what originally grabbed my attention...

If you’re looking for a story about a good, humble girl, who’s been hurt by someone she thought she could trust, only to find out she’s not as vulnerable as she thought she was and discovers an empowering side of herself that falls in love with the guy who helps her find that self, blah, blah, blah...then you’re gonna’ hate my story.

...because I seriously love a story that is a bit out of the norm. Though to clarify, it isn't the story that is different it is the characters. It was so wonderful to see Sophie, who was truly an AWFUL person in the beginning, grow into someone I loved.

I do have one, ok maybe a couple things I need to whine about a little. One, I think we needed a little more background on Sophie, there was reference to someone who died recently that really ramped up her bitterness and bad behavior in the beginning but we never really learned much about that and Ian seemed to have a past we never really got to know anything about either. Also, I would have liked the end to be a little more in depth. I wanted a little more drama when Ian came to America to get Sophie, it just seemed like, wham bam, he's there, he helps her out and they are all good! Don't get me wrong I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this story, I am just selfishly asking for a little more. :)

I promised myself that I would be a little more rigid with my 5 star ratings in 2013 and only gift those books that I loved so much I thought about for days after reading with them. This book TOTALLY falls into that category!!

If you haven't read this book! GO NOW AND GET A COPY!!! I promise, you don't be disappointed!!

This Man (This Man #1) by Jodi Ellen Malpas

Young interior designer Ava O’Shea has an appointment for a first consultation at The Manor with the owner, Mr Jesse Ward. She is expecting nothing more than an overweight, cravat wearing, well-to-do countryman, and on arrival, nothing would suggest otherwise. How wrong could she be? This Man is devastatingly handsome, charming and confident. He is also a conceited, hedonistic playboy, who knows no boundaries. Ava desperately does not want to be attracted to him, but she can’t control the overwhelming affect he has on her. Every instinct is telling her to run, so she does, but Jesse Ward is not so willing to let her go. He wants her and is determined to have her. She knows she is heading for heartbreak, but how can she run when he won’t let her?

Thessa's Review

The Hero in the book, I hear, is BRITISH!!!!! Yea. Nuff said. I'm sold. ;)

4.5 Stars

His face is serious, but still stunning. 'How loud do you think you'll scream when I fuck you?'

Holy. Bloody. Fucking. Hell. I...I...I don't know what to fucking say. I'm rendered a bit speechless. This story has left me in a state of frustration; I'm completely dumbfounded. What the hell did I just read? I've never read a story that has left me with more questions than answers. I don’t ever remember feeling like this. Ever. Don’t get me wrong, this story was all kinds of…smutty, sexy, frustrating fun. I’m think I’m just stunned. I need book two. Oh fuck it. I need the next two books because I have a feeling that if this book ended like this, I’m sure the author will undoubtedly leave us salivating after the end of book two. **sigh** Deep breaths.

‘I’m…going…to…possess every.single.part.of.you,’ He punctuates each word clearly and sharply, ‘There will be nowhere on this beautiful body that won’t have had me in it, on it or over it.’

Holy. Bloody. Fucking. Hell. Get use to these words because I’ll be saying this a lot during this review. Oh Ava, Ava, Ava. This poor woman didn’t know what she was getting into when she went to The Manor to meet her potential client. The rich gentleman client asked for her personally to work on designing the extension of his ‘hotel.’ A stodgy man is what she expected. What she didn’t expect was sex personified. Jesse Ward is devastatingly sexy. What is it with This Man that makes her, and us, weak in the knees.

He rips his hand from the apex of my thighs and knocks me away from his throbbing arousal. In one measured movement, he moves his hands to my backside, lifts me and impales me onto his waiting length.
OUCH! Oh my God and fucking hell!

**Deep Breath** Fuck. Me. Jesse is one intense man. That’s an understatement actually. He’s so many other things, too: Persistent, controlling, possessive, aggressive and a bit manipulative. Ava doesn’t know what to make of him. I don’t know what to make of him. OMG! He is so overwhelming! Ava is in constant whiplash when it comes to this man. Throughout the story, no matter how Ava ‘tried’ she could not shake Jesse. Ignoring her feeling/libido (because let’s face it, her feelings were intertwined with her libido), was pointless. Jesse was so overbearing that she tried to push him away, but he was the most persistent man, ever. He would not take the hint. Why was he was pursuing her so hard core? The thing is this question, and many others, were left unanswered. I’m still in shock at how adamantly he was in perusing her and never ever even knew why. I’m at a loss.

‘I’m going to distract you some more now. We need to make friends.’

We need to make friends. Ha! This phrase has taken on a whole new meeting. It practically makes me blush at thinking about the hiding meaning behind these words. Let’s just say that Ava and Jesse spend a lot of time making friends in this story. The sex in this book is in-fucking-credible. It will leave you squirming, your jaw gaping and sometimes, just Flat. Out. Stunned. Whew! Ummm, yea. What was I saying? **Shakes head** Sorry, I was reminiscing the sexy times these two had and I was in a daze for a moment. This story will do that to you, you know. It will also leave you frustrated, but in a good way, though. I seriously cannot wait for book two. I already miss making friends with Jesse. **Smirks**

**The author will donate all profits from the sale of the JUST BREATHE trilogy to programs that educate people about whales and the challenges they face.

 Grace's Review:

Five Breathtaking, Heart-pounding, Brilliant Stars!!!

Inhale hooks you in. Exhale makes you want more. Just Breathe leaves you absolutely breathless!

Kendall Grey completely rocks it providing her fans an exhilarating and stunning conclusion to the Just Breathe trilogy. If you've been following this series, then you know that there has been a build up of something huge happening. Well, what happens in Just Breathe is pretty darn EPIC!!!

There are several things going on as Zoe, Gavin, Jack, and his renegade Librus Group work together to save humanity from the Fyres. The door to The Dreaming must be found. A new WÓ•ter Archelemental arises. Gavin has to search for a traitor AND fend off Scarlet. Good lord! All the while, Zoe and Gavin sort out their feelings about the “incident” that happened and attempt to forge ahead with their relationship.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of this series. I was excitedly anticipating this book from the day I finished reading Inhale. I'm pretty sure the reason why is that Kendall Grey can tell a story like it's no one's business. Simply put, her writing is amazing! She writes vivid scenes and combine words that flow together like water. The characters that she writes have become real to me. Lily, the star humpback whale of the series has given me new appreciation for these mammals. Jack, Jet, Vexx and Byrn all enriched the storyline so perfectly with their colorful personalities and quirks. Vexx and Bryn are so cute and funny. Really, they are a delight to get to know. All along Sinnder has been seductive and quiet about his agenda, but not anymore! Then there is Scarlet. To say she is evil is putting it mildly. She is the antagonist that I love because she is so well written. She's getting desperate now, so she steps up her game by being more conniving, manipulative, and wicked than ever! Will someone put out the Fyre already, please!

“I can't have you, yet I'm lost without you, Zed. Being apart is driving me f*cking mad. I need you.” --Gavin Cassidy

Of course, I can't talk about Just Breathe without mentioning my favorite couple, Gavin and Zoe. Throughout the series we not only see them struggle and learn how to be together, but also as individuals the way they grow and draw strength from each other was so ethereal and beautiful to witness. Their love story is way more than that of a scientist and a rock star. It's the way they were written into an impossible corner where one has to wonder how the heck are they ever going overcome it all. Of the three books, Just Breathe is the one where Grey gave them their most intimate and special moments together, and...Holy-dooly, hot fudge sundae...were those moments steamy, tender and extremely playful!

For anyone interested in this series, please start at the beginning with Inhale. Then read all the Ephemera shorts, since they compliment these stories so well. To all fellow Wyldlings everywhere...happy dreaming! To Kendall Grey...THANK YOU for the fantastic journey in this trilogy. It was a pleasure to read. I have become forever a fan of your stories. You are truly one kick-ass, passionate writer, and you better believe it! :)

Just Breathe Blog Tour

Welcome characters Gavin and Zoe on the " Just Breathe Blog Tour"

-->

 The Journal

Gavin and Zoe are snuggled up together on the couch in their living room, sipping coffee on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Zoe: I’ve seen you writing in that little notebook with the black cover and skulls. What’s in there?

Gavin: *A tinge of red creeps into his cheeks* Just stuff.

Zoe: Like song ideas?

Gavin: You could say that.

Zoe: What else?

Gavin: Things I want to remember.

Zoe: Like birthdays.

Gavin: Yeah.

Zoe: Anniversaries.

Gavin: Do we have an anniversary?

Zoe: I’m sure we do somewhere.

Gavin: First time we met in the Dreaming.

Zoe: I don’t think that counts.

Gavin: You know as well as I do that dream was real. It counts.

Zoe: Too true. Back to the notebook— *Her eyes widen, and she swats his arm* —Wait a minute. Is it a diary?

Gavin: *Huffs* No, it’s not a bloody diary.

Zoe: It is! I’ll bet I could sell it on Ebay for a lot of money. *Laughs*

Gavin: If you knew what was in it—never mind.

Zoe: *Arches a brow* See, now you got me really interested. Come on, just a peek? It’s not fair that you can tell what I’m thinking by looking at my aura, but I have no idea what goes on inside your head.

Gavin: I can’t read your mind. Emotional impressions only, and even that’s dodgy. Up to a lot of interpretation.

Zoe: You seem pretty skilled at it… *Hooks arms around Gavin’s shoulders and straddles him*

Gavin: *Grins* Lots of practice.

Zoe: What’s my aura saying now?

Gavin: It’s demanding I take you back to bed. It said if I don’t, severe bodily harm will be exacted upon my person in the form of blue balls and/or acute hypertension. This situation can only be remedied with hot, sweaty sex. An hour’s worth, minimum.

Zoe: That’s not what my aura said.

Gavin: No? Let me try again… *Cups her breasts* *Kisses her neck* Hmm…your Water is speaking to me. You want a tongue bath…from a tall, dark, and handsome musician…

Zoe: *Giggles* Actually, I’m kinda hungry. How about you take me out for pizza?

Gavin: *Frowns* You’re no fun at all.

Zoe: Tongue bath when we get home. Followed by hot, sweaty sex. And a reading from your diary.

Gavin: *Drops hands* *Groans*

Zoe: Go get dressed. *Shoves him off the couch, slaps his flannel-covered pajama ass, and grins* I’m starving.

When Gavin heads to the bedroom, Zoe pulls out his notebook from the side table drawer and thumbs through it.

20 October: Showered Zed with rose petals in bed. Still remember the way she looked afterward—skin flushed and glistening, eyelids heavy, hair damp, body loose and sated…my beautiful rain storm.”

Zoe’s heart skips a beat as she remembers that night. She closes her eyes, inhales a deep breath, and clutches his notebook to her chest. Still Mr. Perfect. Feeling guilty, she slips the diary back into its hiding place.

Zoe: *Calls out* I changed my mind about the reading.

Gavin: *Enters living room, pulling shirt over rock-hard abs* You read my journal, didn’t you?

Zoe: *Blushes as she sidles up to him* Okay, maybe one entry. I’m sorry. Couldn’t resist.

Gavin: *Hugs her against his chest* I wrote it for you.

Zoe: *Pulls back* What?

Gavin: I was gonna give it to you when all the pages were full. *Grins* Anniversary present.

Zoe: *Shakes head and melts into a puddle* You’re such a romantic. Remind me again how I ended up with you?

Gavin: *Shrugs* You’re incredibly lucky.

Zoe: * Forgets about pizza, bites his lip ring, and drags him to the bedroom* *Mumbles breathlessly* So are you.

Gavin: That’s the bloody truth.

The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay

The Sea of Tranquility
I live in a world without magic or miracles. A place where there are no clairvoyants or shapeshifters, no angels or superhuman boys to save you. A place where people die and music disintegrates and things suck. I am pressed so hard against the earth by the weight of reality that some days I wonder how I am still able to lift my feet to walk.

Former piano prodigy Nastya Kashnikov wants two things: to get through high school without anyone learning about her past and to make the boy who took everything from her—her identity, her spirit, her will to live—pay.

Josh Bennett’s story is no secret: every person he loves has been taken from his life until, at seventeen years old, there is no one left. Now all he wants is be left alone and people allow it because when your name is synonymous with death, everyone tends to give you your space.

Everyone except Nastya, the mysterious new girl at school who starts showing up and won’t go away until she’s insinuated herself into every aspect of his life. But the more he gets to know her, the more of an enigma she becomes. As their relationship intensifies and the unanswered questions begin to pile up, he starts to wonder if he will ever learn the secrets she’s been hiding—or if he even wants to.

The Sea of Tranquility is a rich, intense, and brilliantly imagined story about a lonely boy, an emotionally fragile girl, and the miracle of second chances.

-Nastya

I’m sitting here contemplating what I could possibly have to say about The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay that hasn’t already been said. I guess I’ll ramble through my thoughts and hopefully you can bare with me.

I’ve had this book in my kindle for quite a while, and I’m not sure why it took me so long to pick this up, but finally I did. (Better late than never I suppose.) I could just kick myself for not reading this sooner! So add me to the masses that have loved this book.

I take both of her hands and pull her in front of me, because I want to face her when I say everything I have to say. And maybe it’s a mistake, because when I look at her now, I think, for just one second, that God doesn’t hate me so much after all. -Josh

I tried to pace myself with this book, but all I could think about when I wasn’t reading it, was reading it. This book is absolutely stunning!! It’s beautifully and flawlessly written. And the characters were superb, I loved them all from the H/h (Josh and Nastya) to Drew and the rest the secondary cast. I adored Drew for so many reasons. These characters are much more mature than I remember being at their age, but they have dealt with some serious situations in their lives that made them grow up a lot quicker than your average teenager. There were some funny moments while getting to know the characters, and there were times when I felt like my heart was being ripped out.

"Emilla," he says, and when he does it warms me to my soul. "Every day you save me."

I’m very excited for this author and her much deserved success of this book, which easily landed on my “ favorites” shelf, and I can’t wait to buy the paperback in June to add to my “real” book shelf. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. This is one of those books that grabs a hold of your heart and doesn’t let go. I was so in love with this book, that I would completely loose myself in it, and was so sad when I had to leave these characters and the gorgeous writing in this book.

This is a YA book and I highly recommend it to anyone who reads the genre, but make no mistake there are serious issues going on in this book, and these characters are really mature.

Thank You Katja for an AMAZING read!!

Three Nurses......

Three nurses died at the same time & went to heaven where they were met at the Pearly Gates by St. Peter. To the first, he asked, "What did you do on Earth and why should you go to heaven?" "I was a nurse in an inner city hospital," she replied. "I worked to bring healing and peace to the poor suffering city children." "Very noble," said St. Peter. "You may enter." And in through the gates she went.

To the next, he asked the same question, "So what did you do on Earth?" "I was a nurse at a missionary hospital in Africa," she replied. "For many years, I worked with a skeleton crew of doctors and nurses who tried to reach out to as many peoples and tribes with a hand of healing and with a message of God's love." "How touching," said St. Peter. "You too may enter." And in she went.

To the last nurse, he asked, "So, what did you do back on Earth?" After some hesitation, she explained, "I was just a nurse at an H.M.O." St. Peter pondered this for a moment, and then said, "Okay, you may enter also." "Whew!" said the nurse. "For a moment there, I thought you weren't going to let me in." "Oh, you can come in," said St. Peter, "but you can only stay for three days..."

Elena & Rhonda Review!:

RhondaElena R a.k.a. Lunies R

Rhonda- Elena read Fallen Too Far before I did.  She called me as soon as she was finished with it to vent about it. Well, I suppose she could only say so much since I haven't read the book, but the way she talked about it I knew I had to dive into this one!  I have only read YA by Abbi Glines, so I wasn't quite sure what exactly to expect. OMG! This book was so good! I was quickly wrapped up in the story and the characters. Abbi Glines completely exceeded my expectations.

Elena- I'm so glad my recommendation wasn't an epic fail Rhonda. Lolz! Now that I know Rhonda loved it, just as much as I did. Then I can explode and recommend this novel to everyone who loves their contemporary romance with a hint of raw and heartfelt emotional  romance!

Rhonda- Epic Fail??  Never!!  Elena you are exactly right, raw and heartfelt, emotional romance indeed!! I couldn't put this book down once I started, Abbi Glines made me blush and swoon over her hero Rush!! I think I might have swooned a little over Blaire too. LOL!

Elena- The characters are more then just likable, they're lovable. It's hard to choose who I love more; the Hero, Rush.Or the Heroine, Blaire? I can't choose, I have a strong love spot in my heart for bad boys and strong bada** heroines who have courage, strength and takes the hard times make them into good times, then squash them all together, you got yourself a whirlwind of secrets, betrayals, love, loyalty, friendships, daddy issues, loss of a loved one, then there's dealing with incompetent people, and still manage to stay strong. I'm crossing my fingers the next book will stitch my heart back together, this book left me breathless and my heart torn into pieces.

So bottom like is this: If you like your Contemporary Romance with a good story line and a lot of steam, then this book is for you!!
