Immersed In Pleasure by Tiffany Reisz

The Manhattan Mermaids: Believed to be the most beautiful women in the city, they entertain wealthy, powerful men in an exclusive club called Fathoms....and are all virgins. Derek Prince doesn't believe they really exist, until he meets the stunningly sensual Xenia. She drives him wild with desire, but giving in to temptation means losing her position at Fathoms. Derek is incredibly turned on by the thought of being Xenia's first...but will he be willing to wait for her?

Rhonda's Review:

A HOT rendition of The Little Mermaid!

I read The Siren By Tiffany Reisz several weeks ago, and have since devoured anything by her I could get my hands on.

Kingsley Edge owns an assortment of “Underground Clubs” and one of which is the Fathoms in Manhattan. This is where there are rumored to be some of the most beautiful women in the city, but they aren’t just women, they are Kingsley’s Mermaids. These mermaids entertain the most elite and powerful, and they are unattainable virgins. Most don’t believe they exist including Derek Prince until finds himself face to face with one of them. As soon as Derek meets the very beautiful Xenia, he is completely lost to any other woman. Derek and Xenia have an instant attraction, but Xenia must choose wisely because she can only remain a mermaid as long as she remains a virgin.

The only real common denominator between this story and The Original Sinners is Kingsley. That being said, I still think readers would enjoy this more after reading The Siren and being more familiar with Kingsley. The story was very sweet, and very spicy! Miss Reisz has become one of my favorite authors, and I look forward to more from her.

Gabriel's Rapture (#2) By Slyvain Reynard

Professor Gabriel Emerson has embarked on a passionate, yet clandestine affair with his former student, Julia Mitchell. Sequestered on a romantic holiday in Italy, he tutors her in the sensual delights of the body and the raptures of sex. But when they return, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover. When Gabriel is confronted by the university administration, will he succumb to Dante's fate? Or will he fight to keep Julia, his Beatrice, forever? In Gabriel's Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel's Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader's mind, body, and soul, forever.

Thessa's Review:

My beautiful sticky little leaf...

Alright, as far as writing this review, I really don’t know what to say. I love Sylvain Reynard’s writing and totally in love with Gabriel’s Inferno. I love it, I love it, I love it. It’s one of my all-time favorite stories off all time. With that said, I had severely high expectations on the sequel and maybe that's why I didn’t love this sequel as much as I expected to. I liked it, but didn’t love it.

The obvious positive in this sequel is that we get to witness Gabriel and Julia’s new found love. Without a doubt, these two are madly in love. Their time in Italy was beautiful and extremely romantic. We get to see the saucier side of their relationship and, yes, it was emgasmic. However, because of this, the story’s tone was different from the first. The Professor’s commanding presence was sorely missed in this sequel. He grew up, and grew up fast. His new relationship with Julia has definitely changed him. Most of it was for the better, but his brooding attitude was severely missed. In regards to Julia, her character was still on the shy side, but did start to develop a voice of her own. It took awhile for it to happen and it did get a little frustrating.

In addition to the changes in the main characters, the other thing that bothered me about the story was the multitude of people wanting to break them up. We have Paulina, Natalie, the Dean and the various other academic professionals involved in the investigation. I had such a difficult time when it came to the investigation part. I was angry and heartbroken. Though Gabriel and Julia have their HEA, I don’t think I fully recovered from that part. It was just too much. Oh, and as a side note, I really felt for Paul’s character. I’m a sucker for the brokenhearted bloke. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy Gabriel & Julia got together, but I hated that Paul was collateral damage. He was such a sweetheart and I just adored his character. I’d like to think that he, too, has his HEA.

Overall, I want to thank you, Mr. Reynard, for writing this sequel and letting us share their happiness. You seem to have the natural talent to invoke a lot of deep emotion in your stories. I love your writing and I highly look forward many more of your stories :)

A little later, he gives her a peck on the cheek, and says, "In America, we call this a kiss". She replies, "Yaah, in Sveden, we call it a kiss too."
Towards the end of the night, and a lot of drinks later, he takes her out on the campus lawn, and proceeds to have sex with her, and says, "In America, we call this a grass sandwich". She says, "Yaaah in Sveden, we call it a grass sandwich too, but we usually put more meat in it."

Demon Hunt (#2) By Christine Ashworth

Tribred Gregor Caine decided long ago to deny his blood legacy. So he is’not happy when paired with a full-blooded Fae to hunt the demons threatening to overrun Los Angeles. As they fight side by side, he finds she calls to both his Fae and his demon blood; a call he can’t resist.
Warrior Fae Serra Willows crossed into the Human Plane to help destroy the demons released from the Chaos Plane. Finding and shutting down the portal between worlds is more challenging than she expected...and Gregor and his world more seductive than she had ever imagined.
As the killings escalate, Gregor and Serra realize one of the most deadly demons from the Chaos Plane has marked Serra as his own. To save her, Gregor has to face his greatest fear—losing his humanity to the darkness in his blood. But in a race against time, that darkness could become his greatest strength. And he will kill to claim Serra’s love.

What New York Times Bestselling Author Maggie Shayne has to say about DEMON HUNT:

"Demon Hunt sucked me in from the very first page. A potent, exciting, Fae adventure that keeps you turning pages while you try to catch your breath. Ashworth's talent shines in this unique and original novel. Do not miss it."

Elena's Review:

"Very often, life isn't logical, but it usually makes sense if you're paying attention."

Giving up isn't an option. So what's a person to do, when.........You're human, falling for a Fae,not any Fae but a strong Warrior Fae? Geez Lousie! Gregor can't keep denying he's just a "human" forever. Having Fae and demon blood inside him,Amps ups his big role in the story. And deep down his inner self is itching for a fight, any fight.

The first would be the big fight! They're a few days away from the Winter Solice, which is a night for magicks, when the natural walls between the Planes grow slim. Many of the Fae,and humans as well as demons, hold rituals on the longest night of the year. Kendall Sorbis,is evil incarnated,he'll do what it takes to use the Winter Solice to his advantage, stealing powers from demons and the helpless. So, Gregor and his team must find and close the portal before the the full moon,or there will be many of deaths.

Next fight? Fighting his every urge and desire that he's attracted to Serra. C'mon! I'm a woman and know without a doubt, a female Fae warrior with a badass protective streak is, H.A.W.T! Once he embraces his bloodlines, he blows in full force, claims what his heart desires, and takes in what he's meant to be like a real man! Go Gregor! Lolz! Together Gregor and Serra make a great team,I'd never want to cross their paths, unless I'm the good villian =P

I liked the first novel, and hopped right into this novel liking it even better.I'm hoping for book three, not only to like it, but to love it! My two favorite characters,Justin and Maggie. They've pretended to grate on each others nerves, bicker and banter, in every book. So enough of the foreplay and bring on the good stuff! *snickers* These Caine brothers know how to reel in their woman. Starting with me,and that's more than enough said.... Hehe!

All in all, congrats to the author on her new release, and keep these stories coming. Two-thumbs up!

As forces, both friend and foe, threaten to tear them apart, Stephan and Brianna have to navigate the turbulent waters and find what they need in each other.

Holly's Review:

This is book two in the 'Finding Anna' series and I enjoyed this one as much as I did the first one.

In this installment we find Anna coming to terms with the fact that she is no longer a slave and that she is indeed a free woman. This is a very difficult journey for her but Stephen is right by her side every step of the way. Stephen finds himself having fallen in love with the beautiful Anna.

This book is all about these two learning to live, love and grow together. As I said before this is a long slow process but they are doing it. Stephen is very patient and is keeping his sexual attraction in check, for the most part, because even though they have come so far he knows that Anna is not ready for sex of any kind. Anna, wanting to please Stephen and feeling sexual attraction of her own, even though she has no idea what these feelings are, persuades Stephen that she is ready to explore this with him. They take it very slow and run into some setbacks along the way, but for the most part it is a beautiful journey of learning to live again.

As I said in my review of book one, the end drops off abruptly and picks right up in book two and this book is no different. You are reading along the amazing life of these to courageous and beautiful people and the story just ends! Ugghh! I assume there is going to be a book three, but I don't know when. I am anxiously awaiting delving more into the life to Stephen and Anna!

That is, until she meets the man who rescued her from the hands of a would-be rapist. With a body made for sin, a wicked, sexy tattoo and an aura that screams “badass,” her rescuer not only calms the storm of terror raging inside her mind, he ignites a passion within her she’s never known before.

Tired of using meaningless sex to drown out the horrors of his past, Nick Ackart has sworn off women. In fact, if women were classified as meat, his ass is Vegan. Despite his determination to remain unattached, Nick is unable to stay away from the emerald-eyed beauty he rescued from a sadistic pervert. Immersed in a tangled web of sexual desire and deep emotion he was certain was long dead, he vows to protect Halley from the monster hounding her, even though he stands to lose his heart in the process.

Grace's Review:

Lisa Sanchez shines in creating such likable characters who are so compatible with one another. Nick & Halley are both wounded souls who meet under harsh circumstances. He is sincere, sweet and sexy. She is vulnerable yet strong. They fall intensely for one another even though Nick is resistant to fall in love. Oh yeah, Halley is being stalked and Nick feels it's his job to protect her. Ms. Sanchez does a great job in creating a perfect balance of both tender and steamy-hot moments for Nick and Halley. There's also a nice amount of suspense that kept me guessing until the end.

Love Interrupted By Kat Black

Can a broken heart forgive, when the flesh can’t forget?

The last thing Frankie expects to find lurking in a pile of innocent-looking birthday cards is a letter from her estranged husband—the man who broke her heart and threw away their marriage for a night of drunken infidelity. And the last thing she needs is to revisit those feelings of hurt and betrayal brought back by his words of apology and regret. After everything she’s been through, is it too much to ask to be left alone to try and build a new, independent life for herself?

Apparently it is. As letter after letter falls on her doormat, and the beautiful, eloquent words contained therein slip through her tightly constructed defenses, Frankie becomes a jumble of mixed emotions and desperate desire. Rage, sorrow, revenge and lust mix to make an explosive cocktail when Frankie and Mark find themselves face-to-face for the first time since the split.

Holly's Review:

This was a beautiful story of love, betrayal and forgiveness!! Get your tissues people!

Mark broke Frankie's heart with the ultimate betrayal - another woman. Months later Frankie has yet to put her life or her heart back together, so when her friends show up wanting to celebrate her 30th birthday she is in absolutely no mood to celebrate. As she is reluctantly getting ready, her friends proceed to open her mountain of birthday cards for her, only to discover a letter from Mark which brutally rips past any defenses she has built up from the pain, which needless to say is very little.

His beautiful letter of apology and regret sends Frankie into a tailspin and when she receives a another letter and then another, delivered in person, the mixed emotions become explosive as Mark and Frankie try to get past the pain and betrayal to see if there is enough love and forgiveness between them to put the pieces back together!

Ms Black does a beautiful job making you feel Frankie and Marks pain and Marks ache to make it right! And I thank her for the opportunity to read and review this wonderful story!

One smoking-hot kiss could change everything…but will it ruin a one-of-a-kind friendship, or show Logan and Amy that they've already found everything they need, right here in Destiny?

Sam's Review:

Wow,can't believe I was thrown straight back into the little country town of Destiny Falls. And it felt so right, as it does every time I read a Destiny novel. I'm never let down and I wasn't with this one either.

This time we are sharing the story of Amy, owner of Under The Covers book store, renowned cat lover and town match maker. Amy has watched everyone in town find and fall in love, and slowly but surly all marry off until now it seems that she is the last one left. But she doesn't mind, she is happy upbeat Amy and everything is alway perky. That is until one afternoon Logan Whitaker,Amy's longtime best friend decides to half drunkingly kiss her and show her what's she has been missing.

Amy never realized that she felt anything for Logan other than a long time friendship. The two have been best friends since they were babies and Amy has spent most of their adult lives setting Logan up with other women, so when she discovers that she herself is in love with Logan she decides to ( with the encouragement from her friends) to take action. But what happens when a blast from the past arrives in town and throws a spanner into the works?

This story was great, I read it in two days and for me that must mean something because I haven't read a book that fast for a freaking long time. The story line was very captivating but there are parts of the books, mainly relating the to the characters that really got on my nerve. Firstly, Amy - she was so frustrating and down on her self constantly. Always criticizing herself and the way she looked and how she could never compete with anyone for Logan's affections. Argh!!! The woman was constantly praised for being pretty, but she just couldn't get over the self loathing. Then Logan and his inability to have any brain in his head what so ever when it came to doing the right thing at the right time.

If I could change one thing it would simply be that the two didn't finally find themselves until exactly right at the end of the book. It took to long for Logan to come around and to long for Amy to stand up and to stop being a pushover.

A new character was introduced into the series and I'm hoping and thinking that there will be a book in the future for this character and I'm looking forward to reading and seeing who she will be matched up with.

Overall loved the book, loved dropping in old characters and loved being back in Destiny Falls.

Thessa's Review:

3.75/5  Stars

Release Date: September 13,2012

You're about as close as I'll have to a wife, anyway,I'm sure.

First off, thank you to the Writer’s Coffee Shop for allowing me to read this ARC. I was so excited to read this and I am ecstatic to have been given the opportunity. Thank you!

Okay, where to begin, where to begin… I’ve always been a fan of love stories that involve two long time friends. When one of those friends happens to have had a reputation as a college Casanova with commitment issues, well, the story just got more interesting.

Kennedy first met Memphis Adams in college. She was well aware of his reputation, so when they met, Memphis’ charms didn’t really have the desired effect he wanted. Instead of being another notch in Memphis’ bedpost, they ended up being each others best friend. Fast forward twelve years and their friendship is as strong as ever. Memphis’ travels the world as a photographer, while Kennedy builds up her career as a painter and sculptor. No matter where Memphis is, he has always travel back home to be there for Kennedy. While he remains single, Kennedy has been in a relationship with Ian Brooks for the past two years. Brooks is thirteen years older than Kennedy and he has a very busy career as a Doctor. Memphis and Brooks do not get along. Brooks has always been suspicious of their friendship, while Memphis doesn’t approve of the fact that, Brooks always picks work before Kennedy.

Memphis is in between assignments, when he comes home. While catching up with Kennedy, he informs her that his next assignment is in Alaska, taking photographs for a resort that will soon open. Kennedy, having seen Memphis’ photos of his previous assignments in Alaska, has always dreamed of going there. Memphis makes a deal with the resort owner and is able to invite Kennedy along for the trip. She wants to go, but knowing Brooks’ reaction deters her from screaming out an immediate “yes!” Meanwhile, her career is taking off and soon finds her work up for display in an upcoming showing at an art gallery. This is a huge moment for her. When the big day arrives, Memphis is there, but where is Brooks? The good ole Doctor doesn’t show up. She has had it with his constant stream of excuses and decides that this trip to Alaska might be the space she needs to think about things. However, when discussing the situation with Brooks to Memphis, she inadvertently asks Memphis to kiss her. He does and that’s when things start to get interesting. So what happens in Alaska? What about Brooks? Is she willing to risk it all, their friendship, and her relationship with Brooks, to be with Memphis?

The drama in this story was laid on thick. There were times where I was left severely frustrated with both Memphis and Kennedy. They kept on giving each other mixed signals and not clarifying any of them. The phrase, “what did you mean by that?” must have been said dozens of times, without neither of them answering it. Ugh! However, when they finally succumb to the inevitable, man, oh, man was it hot.

Overall,I really liked the story, but I didn’t outright love it. Memphis is very swoon-worthy and any girl having a best friend like that would likely risk it all to be with him. He was extremely sweet and caring towards Kennedy. To say they have a strong friendship is an understatement. The story was relatable and I was able to understand Kennedy’s hesitation, but I did find myself getting flustered at her lack of balls, so to speak. lol. The ending felt a little rushed and I wanted just a little more. However, they did get their HEA, which made me happy and giddy, and that itself made this journey worthwhile.

Who Can Relate?

Two married buddies are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, "You know, I don't know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking, I turn the headlights off before I get to the driveway. I shut off the engine and coast into the garage. I take my shoes off before I go into the house, I sneak up the stairs, I get undressed in the bathroom. I ease into bed and my wife STILL wakes up and yells at me for staying out so late!"

His buddy looks at him and says, "Well, you're obviously taking the wrong approach. I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the steps, throw my shoes into the closet, jump into bed, rub my hands on my wife's ass and say, 'How about a blowjob?' ....And she's always sound asleep."

LOL!! I'd Agree with the second wife anyday! ahahaha!!!

Slave to Sensation By Nalini Singh (#1)

THE HOT NEW NAME IN PARANORMAL ROMANCE.
Nalini Singh dives into a world torn apart by a powerful race with phenomenal powers of the mind-and none of the heart.
In a world that denies emotions, where the ruling Psy punish any sign of desire, Sascha Duncan must conceal the feelings that brand her as flawed. To reveal them would be to sentence herself to the horror of "rehabilitation" - the complete psychic erasure of everything she ever was...
Both human and animal, Lucas Hunter is a changeling hungry for the very sensations the Psy disdain. After centuries of uneasy coexistence, these two races are now on the verge of war over the brutal murders of several changeling women. Lucas is determined to find the Psy killer who butchered his packmate, and Sascha is his ticket into their closely guarded society. But he soon discovers that this ice-cold Psy is very capable of passion - and that the animal in him is fascinated by her. Caught between their conflicting worlds, Lucas and Sascha must remain bound to their identities - or sacrifice everything for a taste of darkest temptation...

Ren's Review:

After I read "Angels' Blood" and "Archangel's Kiss", it made me fall in love with the "Guild Hunter's" Series. So,I decided to read another Nalini Singh series, PSY-Changeling. I wanted to know if this series was as good as the Guild Hunter.

So, after my second read,I must admit that I feel, "WOW!!" with the plot, world building and background in this series. Set in the future, PSY-Changeling reminds me of the "In Death" series by J.D. Robb, but of course its different :D (Got that J.D. Robb is Nalini's favorite author, oh same with me!! :D)

In this book, Earth has 3 races. The supernatural being called Psy (they have various ability and they rule the Earth government and have a big domination of economy aspect).Another supernatural being that mixes  their DNA with animals and can change to it,the shape shifters are called Changeling (and they're hot, hot, hot :D). And the last are the  Human, ordinary beings without no special ability (yeah, they're the lowest race :( )...

1969...
Psy decide to make program, called Silence, to nullified Psy' s emotion. So they will not succumb to madness and have esire to kill each other. They can't feel anything, anger, joy, jealous, and the most important emotion, love.

2079...
Sascha Duncan , a cardinal Psy, with eye color as dark as night, meet Lucas Hunter, alpha of Leopard Changeling's pack, DarkRiver, to discuss about project development for Changeling. Sascha get a feeling for Lucas, something that she considered for a failure, because she is Psy! She doesn't feel anything !

Lucas himself has an agenda, he investigates about the serial killer. The killer has killed his pack's member, and she is one of his sentinel's sister, Dorian Christensen. He tries to seduce Sascha, to get information. But, he gets curious with Sascha. He knows that Psy are  cold creatures, then Sascha beguiled him .

Sascha, despite her relationship with Lucas, starts getting to  know more  about theChangeling's world. And Lucas realizes that Sascha is not cold like she always seems. Sascha always feel that she had failed her mother, she is not competent as Psy, but Lucas proves her wrong. Lucas helps Sascha to feel again, like a human would. And he takes her to DarkRiver, to claim her as his mate.

But, the killer act again, now the victim is from Wolf Changeling Pack, SnowDancer, the DarkRiver's alliance. Hawke, SnowDancer's alpha, gives an ultimatum to Lucas and Sascha. 7 days to find Brenna Kincaid (the victim) or, he will kill Sascha. Sascha of course does not believe that Psy can kill people, because Silence prevents them from killing people. But she agrees to help Lucas, even though she might cost her life, when she realizes that she is Lucas' s mate. She love Lucas, and DarkRiver then becames her home.

For the first book of PSY-Changeling series, Slave to Sensation has a good start and foundation for the development in story. The Changeling's word is easy to understand, but not with the Psy's world.
Psy's world is complicated. They're so many Psy abilities, Psy-net, the web of Psy, and then Council (same with Cadre of Ten in Guild Hunter). But, still I enjoy the story ( I heart Lucas!! :D) and maybe will re-read the next books, if I have time :)

On The Island By Tracy Garvis Graves

When thirty-year-old English teacher Anna Emerson is offered a job tutoring T.J. Callahan at his family's summer rental in the Maldives, she accepts without hesitation; a working vacation on a tropical island trumps the library any day.

T.J. Callahan has no desire to leave town, not that anyone asked him. He's almost seventeen and if having cancer wasn't bad enough, now he has to spend his first summer in remission with his family - and a stack of overdue assignments - instead of his friends.

Anna and T.J. are en route to join T.J.'s family in the Maldives when the pilot of their seaplane suffers a fatal heart attack and crash-lands in the Indian Ocean. Adrift in shark-infested waters, their life jackets keep them afloat until they make it to the shore of an uninhabited island. Now Anna and T.J. just want to survive and they must work together to obtain water, food, fire, and shelter. Their basic needs might be met but as the days turn to weeks, and then months, the castaways encounter plenty of other obstacles, including violent tropical storms, the many dangers lurking in the sea, and the possibility that T.J.'s cancer could return. As T.J. celebrates yet another birthday on the island, Anna begins to wonder if the biggest challenge of all might be living with a boy who is gradually becoming a man.

Grace's review:

An absolute page-turner!

Right from the start, On the Island quickly absorbed me into the story and far exceeded any expectations. It's a story that begins with a plane crash that leaves a 30-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy stranded on an uninhabited island. However, this is way more than a story of endurance and survival. At the heart of it all is a believable romance between two human beings.

Anna Emerson and T.J. Callahan are well-developed characters. Forced to adapt to harsh conditions, they only have each other for support. By the time their relationship turns physical, a few years have passed, and T.J. has grown from a boy to a mature, young adult. The way the story is written, by then Anna sees him as her equal.

“I had long since abandoned the notion that I held any kind of rank over T.J. I may have been older and had more life experience, but that didn't matter on the island. We took each day as it came, addressing and solving problems together.” --On the Island, Tracey Garvis Graves

Being on the island is only half of the story. Their relationship is truly tested later on. I'm glad the story is told from both their POVs, alternating every chapter. It is what kept me turning the pages. It has been a while since I read a story that was riveting enough for me to stay up all night reading. Made me cry too! Definitely putting this one on my “Favorites” shelf. I will be thinking about this one for a long while.

 Thessa's Review:
They were not a couple. They were lovers and most definitely in love. Yet, they were a disaster together.

Warning: I tend to use a lot of expletives when I’m emotional. This book, my friends, has made an emotional wreck out of me. So be warned, I will cuss and swear, a lot, in this review :)

I’m a total mess. I think I just had a minor stroke. My speech is slurred, I feel weak all over, and I’ve lost all ability to think straight. They need a support group for those who read this book. I need a place to vent. I feel like punching something, or better yet, I want to virtually slap a few characters in this book. My heart hurts and my mind is in chaos. Listen to me, and listen to me good. This story will f**k with you. It will f**k you over and over again to the point where you want to scream “stop,” but just can’t.

Though this story does not involve whips or chains, I would still categorize it as an S&M book. Why? Simply because Jack dished out the pain over and over again and Lexi just keeps coming back for more. The emotional damage these two inflicted on each other is beyond any physical pain one can endure. I don’t know how I made it this far, but like Lexi, I just keep coming back for more. The masochist in me wanted to feel the pain and I desperately wanted to know how it will all pan out.

**The following may have spoilers**

Jack: You are a sadist and the worst kind of character. I love and hate you at the same time. I love your charm and the alpha-ness in you. The fact you have this unattainable quality, makes me want you even more. However, I loathe the fact that you’re selfish, destructive, and manipulative. You keep dangling this “relationship” carrot constantly in front of Lexi without remorse or regret. You constantly inflict heartache and misery every time you re-enter her life. So no matter how charming or sexy you are, I made up my mind that you are just a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You hurt me severely and I will no longer fall for your antics. You are officially on my sh*t list. I denounce you!

Lexi:
Lexi stayed outside for a minute contemplating how she had allowed things to get so out of control. She had promised herself she wouldn’t let this happen, but when push comes to shove, literally, she couldn’t say no to him. If she were to do it all over again, she’d make the same goddamn mistake.

Girl, you desperately need an intervention. All the warning signs are there, but you won’t listen to them. No wait, strike that, you won’t act upon those warnings. You know Jack is hazardous to your health, but you keep letting him back in. He hurt you, sweetie. The damage he always leaves behind should serve as a constant reminder of how he always drags you down. As much as I want to slap you and make you see clearly, I get it, he’s your kryptonite. Nevertheless, you need to shut him out permanently, otherwise you won’t be able to move forward with your life.

Bekah: I literally hate you. You are a one manipulative, delusional bitch. There were times where I felt sorry for you, but man, you played me. If you were real, I would so go postal on your ass!
Ramsey: I love you. You are a mystery to me, but I don’t care. If Lexi doesn’t want you, I’ll have you. I hope to God that whatever Bekah said about you isn’t true. There’s no way you could’ve faked all that. I’m crossing my fingers for you in the next book.

Chyna: You are one kick-ass BFF. If you were real, we can totally party it up!

Whew! Okay, now that I have most of that out of my system, I will be delving into book two now. I should wait until all my feelings are in check, but man, I'm severely curious to found out how this mind f**k of a story ends. If you like angst to the millionth power and love to be tormented, read this!
