Emma's not interested in a real relationship either; not with a man whose idea of home is wherever he drops his duffel bag. No matter how amazing his "pretend" kisses are...
Elena's Review:
Sean
Kowalski has just come from the army and is thrown into an awkward
situation. "Batshite Crazy Chick" Emma Shaw, made up a fake fiance( Sean)
to ease her grandmother's worries so she could stay happily in
Florida. Her Grandmother is a worried sport and doesn't believe Emma is
capable of keeping up her home that's been in the family for years. So
now that Emma spills the beans that she's now getting married, her
Grandmother Cat,let's loose and now feels comfortable.Emma and Sean have
supposedly been living together for a year when in fact they barely
knew each other.Which Grandma Cat finds out for herself when she comes
visiting for a month, that there's no way these two fools have been
boinking in the sack, yet alone living together.Otherwise she knew from
the start they barely knew each other. Her Only question was "why, did
Emma feel that she had to lie about her engagement?" Sean and Emma make a great couple while they're faking their engagement and when they're not.A simple lie here and there turned out to be big after they both agreed that after Emma's grandmother leaves, they'll go their separate ways,no strings attached. Pffft! Yeah right, these two are attached hip to hip, heart to heart. As their relationship escalates, there's no denying the attraction.Except there's one problem, they're both the most stubborn people ever.Emma nor Sean are willing to accept the fact they've fallen in love.Sean, wants to be able to explore and meet other woman and have fun as a single man, and Emma liked being single and didn't plan on having a relationship or a family anytime soon. BOY WERE THEY BOTH WRONG! It took a lot for them to put two and two together and for Sean to step it up a notch and prove how much he loves and adores Emma. It was so adorable! From the beginning of the novel till the end,I didn't wanna finish it.It was fast past, fun, sweet and sexy! I loved it! And that's saying a lot, just because I didn't read the first two books in this series and still loved this novel unconditionally.I do plan on reading the first two books in the future. It was an entertaining read, I recommend it to, anyone who loves a good contemporary romance. | |||||||
