Lucy is the Etruscan goddess of the moon, hunted by a powerful demon. One misstep and he will trap and consume her in his bid to escape the underworld. Lucy has stayed one step ahead of him, but she didn't count on falling for minor league hockey player John Stevenson. John's not one of her worshippers, but he is determined to win over the gorgeous woman who watches him at every game and won't give her up without a fight—even if it means releasing the beast he holds inside.

This book is actually the second book in the Forgotten Goddesses series
and I really liked this one better than the first. Now, don't get me wrong, I
enjoyed the first one but I guess I had a little trouble enjoying it because I
was so busy getting to know all the goddesses and characters and figuring out
just what was going on, ya know, first book syndrome and all.
This book is about Lusna 'Lucy' Etruscan Goddess of the Moon. In the first book we learn that the goddesses are being hunted down for their powers. They are being hunted by Charun, kind of lord of the underworld, who believes if he can gather the Goddesses powers he can escape from Aitas and become all powerful. This is the underlying story. The main story is about Lucy and Brandon. Lucy has been drawn to Brandon for quite some time and sits front and center at everyone of his games, oh, did I mention Brandon is a big, smokin' hot hockey player!!? Anyway, Brandon has noticed Lucy too and finds his way to her eventually and they realize they have an undeniable pull to each other and that it is obviously something more than simple attraction and lust. Oh yeah, Miss Julian does not disappoint, this book is loaded with yummy, steamy, sometimes a little dominant SEX!!! Lucy is warned that Charun is hunting Goddesses and she should beware but she is worried because although Brandon has a mild magic signature, he is still human and can be harmed.....or is he?? I can't really give anymore of the story away but I will say that I think this has a potential to be a wonderfully creative and fun series as we meet all of the Forgotten Goddesses and get to know them!!
