We are extremely excited to welcome J.A. Saare to our blog. She writes a variety of genres including, UF, Erotica, Contemporary Romance, and Paranormal Romance that totally kicks ass!!!
I read Mrs. Saare’s book, “Dead, Undead, or Somewhere In Between” About a year ago….. After it sat on my shelf … for a while. After reading it, I could have kicked myself for waiting so long. I fell in love with her story and her characters. After reading book two in the series, “The Renfield Syndrome,” I found myself even more head over heels for this series. I was really excited that Elena loved this series too, after nudging her into it. We are so looking forward to the third instalment in Rhiannon’s Law. If you haven’t yet discovered this series, I suggest you pick it up. It’s such a fun, sexy, crazy ride, and Mrs. Saare will sweep you up in a fast paced story that will leave you wanting more!!

*Elena’s Questions for Jaime
Q: If you had the opportunity to write with another author, who would it be?
A: Oh man, that’s tough! There are so many authors I admire. I recently devoured Carolyn Cranes’s Disillusionist Trilogy (I’m eagerly waiting for book three) and would love to work with her. She has such a beautiful voice and a talent for storytelling.
Q: While writing the “The Renfield Syndrome,” you chose to add the Lycans / Werewolves into the story. Was it to get your readers excited or do you have a plan? Will the werewolves continue into the coming book?
A: The simple answer is yes, werewolves will reappear in future instalments. I’m not sure of when that might be. I’ve always been drawn to shifters, so I wanted to incorporate them into the books.
Q: Here’s a question I hope you can answer; Will Paine get his HEA?
A: I have a general idea of where things are going, so I’d like to “think” he will. However, I’m not a plotter when I write. I have a general idea of where things will go but usually that changes as the story progresses. I want Paine to have his HEA. He’s a character I’ve always loved.
*Rhonda’s Question’s for Jaime
Q: I love to read great kick ass heroines, and I’ve only met a few. Rhiannon Murphy straight up ROCKS! She’s smart, witty, kicks ass, and I love her sense of humour. She is among my favorite heroines, a list she shares with; MacKayla Lane (Fever series), Sinead Donnelly (Demonica series) , Xhex, (BDB) Catherine Crawfield (Night Huntress) , Rose Hathaway (Vampire Academy), Eugenie Markham ( Dark Swan) and Piper Anast ( Piper’s Fury) .
What was your inspiration for creating Rhiannon Murphy?
A: Thank you so much! I’m thrilled that you enjoy reading Rhiannon since she’s a blast to write. Creating her was actually a flash in the pan. I had a glimpse one day of a young woman who worked in a strip club as a bartender and saw dead people. I told my husband about it, he said it sounded interesting, and I literally sat down and started writing. Her first law came out of nowhere. She is one of those characters that are very vocal, so her “voice” came very naturally to me.
Q: Out of all the books you’ve written, what character is the most fun for you to write? Which Character is most Challenging?
A: Rhiannon is the most fun to write, hands down. She says what she thinks and I love that about her. Disco is the hardest. I’ve been trying to write a vignette from his point of view for months. Each time I start, I can’t hear anything from him.
Q: “The Renfield Syndrome” was pretty gory, and I loved it!! The chick fight between Rhiannon and Jackson was awesome, which scene in Renfield Syndrome was your favorite to write??
A: The scene you mentioned. *smile* It was so much fun to write a fight scene where anything goes. I love horror, so the gory aspects were right up my alley.
Q: Can you tell us about anything you are working on right now or give us a sneak peak?
A: Right now I’m working on the third book in the Rhiannon’s Law series, The Ripple Effect. I’m also working on erotic works under my Aline Hunter pen. It’s nice to be able to go back and forth. Rhiannon is a very dark character, so writing romance is a nice breather. I do have a new urban fantasy in the works. I can’t say much aside from I started writing it last year and I hope to wrap it up as soon as the books I’m contracted for are finished.
