Breaking Point - Pamela Clare

Denver journalist Natalie Benoit and Deputy U.S. Marshal Zach McBride find themselves captives of a bloodthirsty Mexican drug cartel. Working together, they escape through the desert toward the border, the attraction between them flaring hotter than the Sonoran sun. They fight to stay ahead of the danger that hunts them as forces more powerful than they can imagine conspire to destroy them both...

Breaking Point (I-Team, #5)Pamela Clare’s stories are like the most decadent piece chocolate. I savored each word of every page thoroughly. Ms. Clare is a gifted wielder of words, spinning a story with suspense, intrigue, sexy heroes, strong heroines, and emotion I feel in my heart as well as my tear ducts. Ms. Clare has provided me with many hours of reading pleasure, novels that I could continue to read long after the last page. This story is no different, it is exactly the kind of novel I have come to expect from her. Thank you Pamela for introducing me to the world of romantic suspense novels, you have set the bar high.

This story starts with a bang, and drops us right in the middle of Ciudad Juarez where drug, and human trafficking cartels are prevalent and rule the streets. Natalie Benoit is there for a convention and tour, when the tour bus is taken over by Zetas, one of the drug cartels, and Natalie is captured and imprisoned, with the promise of sexual slavery and death looming. She is thrown into a dark, dirty arachnid infested cell, and quickly discovers that she has a neighbor, Zach Black (McBride) who is a highly decorated war hero, turned US Marshal. Zach has already been there days ahead of her, and has suffered extreme torture at the hands of the Zetas. With her impending future of rape and death, and Zach’s certain torturous death to come, they must find a way to escape.

After escaping from their prison, and on the run from the Zetas, Zach has promised to get Natalie safely home to US soil. Not able to trust the government officials in Mexico because the Zetas have many of them on their payroll, Zach and Natalie set out on an incredible journey of survival. Along the way, they find that they have more in common than circumstances that have brought them together.

Natalie is such a strong character, mentally and physically, but her heart has been through some trauma that has left her alone for the past 6 years. And Zach *sigh* is a war hero, who doesn’t feel heroic at all, due to events in Afghanistan in which he blames himself. He has no concept of the hero he truly is. Can Natalie make him see the man he really is? Can Zach help Natalie overcome her past?

I don’t want to give up too much of the story, one of the best things was unraveling this page by page. It was fast paced, perfectly written, the characters were excellent, swoon worthy, both Natalie and Zach were heroic. And I loved that the previous characters; Gabe, Julian, and Marc were all in this book, not just a brief appearance.

This book is Romantic Suspense perfection!!

**Favorite Quote:

He held up the AK-47, the muscles in his arm bunching against the weight. “This is an assault rifle.” Then held up the handgun. “This is a semi-automatic pistol.”
Then he gave a little thrust of his hips and looked down at his penis. “That is my gun. As you’ve discovered, it’s pumpaction like a shotgun , but it doesn’t fire bullets.” - Playful Zach to Natalie

When I realized I was going to die, the only thing I could think about was you and what an idiot I’d been for not telling you how I felt about you. I think I’ve loved you from the moment you lifted that awful blindfold off my face. I opened my eyes, and there you were, the bravest, most beautiful woman I’ve ever known. You set me free Natalie. In so many ways, you set me free.” - Zach to Natalie

Long Time Coming by Scarlett Parrish

Piper Holt’s only after one thing: a man who’s only after one thing. Previous lovers demanded either subservience or her heart, neither of which are up for negotiation, so Leo Carson's attitude makes him her ideal match. Handsome, shameless and equally impulsive, he appears to want nothing more than a white-hot overnight liaison.

'Overnight' somehow develops into the entire weekend but come Monday morning, pride keeps her back turned and Piper walks away. Denying her own feelings doesn't mean that Leo has none though, and if she's going to atone for hurting him she'll have to admit the 'one thing' she now wants is the man she's in danger of losing forever.

Long Time Coming
By Scarlett Parrish
M/F Contemporary Erotica

Piper Holt has just broken up with her boyfriend, (who is an asshole, by-the-way). So now with her sense of freedom, she’s decided to have some fun, starting with her brothers’ friend Gray. Piper and Gray met previously at a party her brother was having a while back, and have been harboring an attraction for each other since. They finally hook up, and all seemed to be going well on their date, which ended up in the sack… exactly where Piper intended to get him. But in the throws of orgasm, Gray drops the “L” bomb, sending Piper “running for the hills”, if you will. Piper is not looking for love, she’s looking for one thing, and wants a man that’s out for one thing.

While Piper is out clubbing, and pubbing one night, she meets Leo Carson. *swoon* Leo is gorgeous, sexy, brash and has no compunctions about saying or doing exactly what’s on his mind. Piper gives him the digits, and about a week later Leo calls Piper for a date. Well, that date ends up exactly where they both want…. against the door, in the bed, in the kitchen ect. What starts out as a one nighter, ends up being a weekender, and by Monday morning the weight of saying goodbye starts bearing down on Piper. Piper isn’t alone, Leo doesn’t want to let Piper go either, but neither of them say a word, and go their separate ways. After several days, Leo shows up at Piper’s workplace, and turns her world upside down. For everything Leo has been, circumstances prove him to be chivalrous, and protective as well. But it seems the more Piper feels toward Leo, the harder she pushes him away, her fear of rejection driving her actions to the point of being a bitch. Leo walks away, and forces Piper to admit what she desperately doesn’t want to, but she’ll never be the same after Leo. He’s turned her inside out physically and emotionally.

This is the first erotica I’ve read written in the first person POV. The story is told from Piper’s perspective, and Scarlett Parrish has done a phenomenal job with this. I was able to discern Leo, and his actions outside of the bedroom for what they were, and how they were meant. As for the erotic, Leo certainly made my toes curl, and my body parts quiver!! Leo *rawr* is definitely going on my “makes my toes curl” shelf.

The Darkest Secret ( Lords of The Underworld #7) - Gena Showalter

Keeper of the demon of Secrets, Amun can manipulate the darkest thoughts of anyone nearby. But when new demons possess him, the immortal warrior must be chained and isolated to protect those he loves. Death is his only hope of release—until he meets Haidee, a fellow prisoner whose beauty and hidden vulnerability draw him into a reckless test of his loyalty…

Haidee is an infamous demon assassin, raised to despise Amun’s kind. Yet how can she hate the man whose touch sets her aflame? But to save him, she must give herself body and soul…and face the wrath of a powerful adversary sworn to destroy her.

The Darkest Secret by Gena ShowalterFor those of you who didn't wanna finish this series because you weren't happy with the choices Showalter made. Then I'm gonna tell you now. Stop being a Ding-Dong, pick up the dang book and read it! I assure it's well worth reading and you will LOVE IT!

As we all know from the previous book "Darkest Lie" William and Aeron, took Amun into hell to rescue Legion. So this book continues on from there. When Amun-Keeper of the demon of secrets helps in this mission, he absorbs all the bad thoughts and memories of Demon Minions, hundreds of them to be precise. I felt remotely saddened reading Amun go through so much pain. *sighs'* He's just,so darn sweet and lovable,he'd rather feel the pain and misery than expose others to his torture,so he keeps it in. He can’t speak aloud for fear all the secrets he has bottled up will come spilling out and hurt those around him.We don't really read much of him in the series,so reading this book had me jumping for joy to finally to read up on my favorite tortured hero and his amazing HEA.YUP! I say Amazing, cause he stole the spotlight of the series!

Haidee-(she has a few secrets of her own,but I'm keeping it to a minimum) Let's just say,she is a Hunter, enemy to the LOTU who many years ago killed a very good friend of there's,Baden. Her parents and husband were killed by,who she thought were the Lords, but after putting the pieces together she comes to realize after all these years, hunting and avenging to kill the Lords was a total mistake.

Haidee & Amun- They're complete opposites but if Amun's happy,I'm happy. I didn't think I would ever come to like Haidee at all.Now I take it all back. She helped, stole, and captured my Heroes heart. They both found a way to put their pasts behind and patch things up.Their love for one another was strong, passionate and trusting.

But... Strider-Demon of Defeat (The only Lord to actually make me purr...ahahaha) has a strong infatuation with the Heroine. Until he realizes it was never meant to be. Regardless of how much he wanted to shag and torture his enemy,he kept his cool.As they say "everything happens for a reason" Once he let's go and goes on a mini-vaca with Will & Paris, well, things just get better. The humor just rolled off the pages. Like for instance, here's a quote that's had me laughing my butt off even after I read the book, the scene is when Strider and William meet up with Paris and a bunch of Strippers:

"I call dibs on the topless one," William said from Strider's left," throwing back his ambrosia laced beer."And the one wearing dental floss" "That's a thong moron" Paris slurred from Strider's right. "If you call that thing riding up her ass is a thong, whatdya call that string across her nipples?" Will countered."A string" Paris confirmed his own genius."........... LOL! I loved it!

It's obvious with all the tension going on this novel that Strider will have an HEA with a certain someone.I just can't wait!

As for Paris,if he doesn't get the love of his life back,I'm gonna go insane.I'm getting tired of the wallowing, but at the same time I feel bad for him.

Hmmmmm....William and Gilly? I have a feeling their story is going to be very emotionally.Someone's heart is definitely going to be broken. Woman only have so much tolerance to hold on and wait for their crush to finally give in and show love back in return.

All in all,I loved the book and can't wait for the next installment to be released!

Funny Funny Har Har! #2

There was a perfect man who met a perfect woman. After a perfect courtship, they had a perfect wedding. Their life together was, of course, perfect.

One snowy, stormy Christmas Eve this perfect couple was driving along a winding road when they noticed someone at the roadside in distress. Being the perfect couple, they stopped to help.

There stood Santa Claus with a huge bundle of toys. Not wanting to disappoint any children on the eve of Christmas, the perfect couple loaded Santa and his toys into their vehicle.

Soon they were driving along delivering the toys. Unfortunately, the driving conditions deteriorated and the perfect couple and Santa Claus had an accident.

Only one of them survived the accident. Who was the survivor?

The perfect woman.

She's the only one that really existed in the first place.

Everyone knows there is no Santa Claus and there is no such thing as a perfect man.

Collide - Megan Hart

A childhood accident left Emmaline vulnerable to disturbing fugue states that last only minutes, but feel like an eternity. The blackouts are unsettling but manageable…until she meets Johnny Dellasandro.
The reclusive painter gained notoriety in the '70s for his debauched lifestyle and raunchy art films. His naked body has achieved cult status, especially in Emm's mind—she's obsessed with the man, who's grown even sexier with age. Today Johnny shuns the spotlight and Emm in particular…until she falls into a fugue on his doorstep.
In that moment she's transported back thirty years, crashing a party at Johnny's place in his wild-man heyday— the night is a blur of flesh and heat that lingers on her skin long after she's woken to the present.
It happens again and again, each time-slip another mind-blowing orgy, and soon Emm can't stop, though every episode leaves her weaker and weaker. She's frightened by what's happening to her, but she's even more terrified of losing this portal to the Johnny she wants so badly. The one who wants her, too, and takes her—every chance he gets.

Collide by Megan HartCOLLIDE - I don’t know how I am going to review this book without giving away too much! Megan Hart has twisted and weaved the elements of time in this new book – My opinions on time travel are hit and miss. If it’s done well, then it’s usually great, but if it’s done poorly then it’s a miss.  This is most defiantly a hit.
I love the style of Harts writing. It’s so sensual; every little thing is made to be erotic even without it meaning to be. I love the subjects that she touches and the intimate details about everything from making love, to watching a video, drinking a cup of coffee or getting yourself off.
The characters in this book are beautiful. Johnny Dellasandro is a 57yr old ex movie star, now artist. And Emm is a 32 yr old banker who for her entire life has suffered from Fagues –
DEFINITION - A state or period of loss of awareness of one's identity, often coupled with flight from one's usual environment, associated with certain forms of hysteria and epilepsy. –
After first coming in contact with Johnny, Emm becomes almost obsessed with him - buying ridiculous memorabilia, researching him on the net etc. And all of a sudden her fugues start happening more and more often, but now her fugues seem to be taking her back to a time when Johnny Dellasandro is in his 20’s and living in the 70’s. But things become even more peculiar when it becomes more obvious that these ’fugues’ are not in fact a dream but in fact reality.
Emm starts a relationship with Johnny in the 70’s when he is at his most yumfuckalbe, but also starts seeing the Johnny of now - the 57yr old version. Lines become blurred when Emm sometimes can’t tell the difference between the then Johnny and the now Johnny. And not only that, Johnny seems to be slipping up and saying things that make Emm think that maybe he knows something but isn’t saying it.
This is the first story I have ever read, where it’s a love story between a young woman and an older man. I did have moments when I couldn’t imagine ever thinking that a relationship with someone 30 yrs my elder would be an okay thing, but it wasn’t made as issue in the book – so it wasn’t an issue for me. I mean, there are some really hot movie stars out there that are in their 50’s, and hell I wouldn’t turn down the opportunity if I had a chance.  Hart is a badass for writing sordid tales and I feel compelled to read everything this woman writes.
The only thing I could have asked more of – the ending left me with some loose ends and a lot of questions. I think a lot of people are going to find this book controversial but I FREAKING loved it!

KMM - FEVER SERIES ANNOUNCMENT!

For those of you who are a huge Fever series Fan by KMM here's AWESOME NEWS: There's more!!! I said it!! Yes I did! Check it out!

Karen Marie MoningAm I writing a 6th FEVER book?

by Karen Marie Moning on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11:15pm

Because I keep getting this question, I’ve realized I've obviously not answered it to your satisfaction:) I'm going to post here and ask that you all help me in spreading the word around.

I'm currently working on a trilogy that features Dani, Christian MacKeltar, Ryodan, and the mysterious 'Dancer,' set primarily in Fever-Dublin. Each installment in the trilogy is a stand-alone mystery, however there are larger plot arcs unfolding in the background. Where Mac was introspective and her story could feel somewhat esoteric, Dani is down and dirty in the streets. Lots of details, lots of action. There’s a different feel to the two series, totally different vantage points. I’m having a blast writing it.

For those of you who have been worrying—the trilogy is not YA. If I had to categorize it, I would say it straddles the line between YA and adult uneasily. I don’t pull any punches. It may be controversial in some ways. But whose teen years weren’t? LOL! Many of the questions I left unanswered in the FEVER series are addressed in this new series.

Exciting news: I’ve agreed to write two more books after that. Once the new trilogy is complete, I’m returning to the core story begun in the FEVER series, and will resume writing about Mac, Barrons, V’lane, Cruce, the Unseelie king, the concubine, the Song of Making.

All in all, there are five more books coming about the Fever World!

Because I know you guys, I know this is going to make some of you as nervous as it makes you excited. Trust me. I’m making no compromises with the characters or the story. It’s all unfolding exactly as it should, true to itself-which means, it’s a sometimes rocky road. Dark times ahead, guys. But I write it all with genuine love for the characters, the world, and you the reader.

As a final note, quit scaring Dreamworks with your demands for NC-17, LMAO. I don’t write NC-17. You have NC-17 imaginations! Sometimes I think you guys should be telling me stories!

This Side Of the Grave #5 - Jeaniene Frost

Half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her vampire husband Bones have fought for their lives, as well as for their relationship. But just when they've triumphed over the latest battle, Cat's new and unexpected abilities threaten to upset a long-standing balance . . .
With the mysterious disappearance of vampires, rumors abound that a species war is brewing. A zealot is inciting tensions between the vampires and ghouls, and if these two powerful groups clash, innocent mortals could become collateral damage. Now Cat and Bones are forced to seek help from a dangerous "ally"—the ghoul queen of New Orleans herself. But the price of her assistance may prove more treacherous than even the threat of a supernatural war . . . to say nothing of the repercussions Cat never imagined.

This Side of the Grave (Night Huntress, #5)First things first, lets get some favourite quotes out of the way shall we?Pg 339 – “Am I the only one who has wood over that little vixen?”- Ian.
Pg 273 – “I know, Im delicious. Nummy...nummy,”- Vlad
Pg 134 – “Premature inflammation,” he replied. “Happens sometimes. Very embarrassing, I don’t like to talk about it.”- Vlad
Pg 82 - “Ask me if I sparkle and Ill kill you where you Stand,”- Bones

I feel like I have had a reunion of sorts after reading this book. Get what I mean? I spent so long reading this series to have it abruptly finish. Now we have been reunited. It was hell for me to watch all my friends read this before me. But Im an individual..pfft..I don’t need to read the same book as everyone else at the same time. But mind you, if you had all waited for me, I wouldn’t have minded.

In this novel, Cat and Bones are ‘vomit in my mouth'happy and married. But with Cat being a full Vampire and have a weird arse appetite for vampire blood she is having some settling in problems with the undead community. This nasty, nasty ghoul has taken it upon himself to use her as a sacrifice to start an all out war between races.

There are only two things that would have made this book better. First – WAY more sex. There was only one little wonsome sex scene. The infamous chapter 21!! It was lengthy – Ill give it that. But after all the hype I read in certain people’s spoilers *cough Ange cough* , I was expecting more, maybe along the lines of a ménage with Vlad. Or just sex with Vlad, period. Gawd I love that Vampire.

Two – WAY more Vlad. Yes he was in it, but Im kinda a Vlad fan and I would love to have seen some nice sexual tension between him and Cat. He has the wittiest lines in the book. I actually stumbled on my treadmill while I was reading and laughed that hard at his ‘premature inflammation’ comment.

I’ll spare the rest of you my boring review and since I don’t like to spoil I will stop with the details here. But in ‘This side of the grave’ we see everything from ghouls, vampires, ghost, illness, and sex and most importantly Bones, Cat, Vlad and Mencheres. Pretty much what we have come to expect, right?

Quote of The Day!!

To all those men who say "Why marry the cow when you can  get the milk for free?"Here's an update for you... Today 80% of women realize its not worth buying into an entire pig just for a little sausage!!

Rock Hard - Olivia Cunning

Sinners’ lead singer, Sed, had his heart shredded when Jessica left him to pursue her dreams,so when she dances her way back into his life, he's not sure he's ready for her brand of pain, or pleasure, again.

When she convinces Sed to engage in a benefits with benefits relationship, things seem to be going his way, until one of his fans catches their explicit public display of affection on film and posts it all over the internet.

Will Jessica ever trust Sed again? And has Sed become the man of Jessica’s dreams or is he just posing to get what he wants?

Rock Hard by Olivia CunningORGASM #4 Top notch scene in this book! Wooooo BABY! I happen to be sitting on the floor on my comfy rug, then literally rolled on the floor and laughed my butt off, ahahaha....but then couldn't help myself, I was in total bliss. Can someone wake me up? Cause I didn't want that scene to end..or...rather I didn't want the book to end,what-so-EVER!

This novel was so wicked! Truthfully? I loved the first novel to this series Back Stage Pass but I rendered speechless with this book! My Goodness! Sed and Jessica had it going on! Allllll around the city (if you catch my drift,LOL)

Let's talk about Sed Lionheart here for just a moment. *Ahem* I caught myself clearing my throat from all the dryness after a few hours of having my mouth gaped wide open. HOT DOGGIT! Sed is SEXY AND WICKED! When I say he's good with his fingers and tongue, believe me,cause I felt it all the way down town, and I was just the reader.LOL!.................When reading about Sed's character in BSPass,He was just okay,I felt bad for him,and I totally hated Jessica's guts, but not anymore. Now knowing exactly what went down,I loved both of them. All it took was Sed to finally realize,he needed to stop being so controlling and let Jessica make her own decision. If there is one thing men should know about woman "Woman don't like to be tugged around and be told what to do,we just get frustrated and do the complete opposite". It takes 2years for this Smexy-Ass couple to reunite again, after their terrible breakup,it may not have been a Honky-Dory moment, but their bad encounter is what they needed to reconcile and deal with their past.

Jessica,
Although,I was wondering what the heck was she thinking, did she honestly think she could use up Sed as her own personnel sex slave and think she could give him up? Obviously not,Jessica sees a side of Sed's soft and admirable heart that she didn't see from him when they were engaged.I loved their connection,it felt like they could hear one anothers heart and knew, there was no letting go. Jessica was a strong impregnable character, with or without Sed by her side no one could tug her down and make her lose her defenses. I loved it! Did I mention she has lots of Stamina? Yeesh! I guess that's what happens when a woman doesn't have sex for two years? Gwad! I was so jealous, her and Sed rocked the bed sheets that I was under at night. LOL!

I've upgraded form a Sinners Fangirl to their Body Guard! LOL! I can't believe how much bad luck the Sinner's Band has, every time they try to work on their new album, one of the band members gets hurt. *sighs* What I loved the most about this book,it was more then just about Sed and Jessica. The Band Members Rock!
Trey played a major role in this story, along with Eric,Brian and of course I can't forget Jace That man makes my mind flicker with naughty pics to drool over.ahahaha.....for instance,I went batshite during this scene “That is hotter.” Jace nodded at the leather-clad, black-haired woman brandishing a whip on the left-hand stage. His entire body jerked with excitement every time her whip cracked."...... *Elena Shudders* Y'all can make fun of me,but I'll rock and rob that cradle any day! Mmmmmm......Nice!

Olivia Cunning did a marvelous job writing this book. It was what I expected plus some! The concert scenes were off the charts
It felt as if I were on stage with them and seeing them Rock On Hard Core! If I knew my family wouldn't look at me as if a "weirdo" I would've squealed like a crazed fan. LOL! Great Job Olivia! BTW,Now I understand the meaning to the book title "Rock Hard" Cause Sed is always "Rock Hard" hehehehe.....

My Balloon Cake!

The Immortal Highlander - Karen Marie Moning

Enter a world of timeless seduction, of ancient intrigue and modern-day passion. Enter the dazzling world of Karen Marie Moning, whose acclaimed Highlander novels have captivated readers, spanning the continents and the centuries, bringing ancient Scotland vividly to life. In a new novel brimming with time-travel adventure and sensual heat, the nationally bestselling author of The Dark Highlander delivers a love story that will hold you in thrall—and a hero you will most certainly never forget.

BEWARE: lethally seductive alpha male of immense strength and dark eroticism, do not look at him. Do not touch him. Do not be tempted. Do not be seduced.

The Immortal Highlander (Highlander, #6)Damn, its good to be me.
- Adam Black, on being Adam Black

Adam Black is a Tuatha De’Danaan, rouge even among his own kind. His favoured glamour is that of an intensely sexual Highland blacksmith with a powerful rippling body, golden skin, long black hair, and dark, mesmerizing eyes. Highly intelligent and lethally seductive. Alleged to have nearly broken The Compact on not one, but two occasions. He is, by far, the most dangerous and unpredictable of his race.

Oh and did I mention frigging hot to trot with a shlong the size of King Kong!?!?!?!? Oh *sighs dreamily* Adam Black, sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. Yes is my answer – YES! I can only imagine that if I ever got my hands onto your fairy body the sex would be so good that even the neighbours would need to have a cigarette.
The other day upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn’t there. He wasn’t there again today; how I wish he’d go away!
- Gabrielle O’Callaghan, on Adam Black.
I
enjoyed Gabrielle’s character. I do tend to get a bit pissy at female characters with their constant self analysis about crap that is totally irrelevant. Not that Gabrielle wasn’t completely without a little self deprecation; it was just that it wasn’t to the extent where I felt like clobbering her one over the head with a mallet. She was intelligent – studying to be a lawyer in fact. And she withstood Adams sexy charms longer than any sane woman would have. I bow to her.

So needless to say, I loved this book. This of course is the story of Adam Black and Gabrielle O’Callaghan and is easily the best I have read so far in this series. I found there was a lot of laugh out loud moments is the book. The plot was enthralling and fast paced. Adam *sigh* is being punished by his Queen for restoring the life of Daegus Mackelter and has forced him into being human and invisible to everyone around him. That is, everyone except Gabby. Gabrielle is a sidhe-seer (someone who can see the Fae). When Adam realized that she can see him, he sets out ruthlessly to get Gabrielle to help him set his life back to rights. Gabrielle has grown up thinking that all fairies are evil so is very wary about helping Adam, but learns quickly along the way that you should never take anything at face value.

Of course there are the usual baddies who are set out to release Hunters into the human world and kill Adam Black.

The romance between Adam and Gabrielle was palpable. They have grant banter and such a great attraction toward one another. Gabrielle withstood Adams charms for an awfully long time and just when you think something was finally going to happen – they get ....interrupted. KMM made these two characters work for each other, with Adam perpetually trying to seduce Gabrielle.

Faults? I am a little over the all the mid twenty year old virgins. Can we not have just one girl in the series that already had her ‘maidenhead’ taken by say, I don’t know....the jerk down the road? And one more tiny thing, long hair down to ones waist, would be so terribly disgusting on a man. Can you imagine the knots? Bleh...

Summary – The Immortal Highlander was a truly wonderful read. I haven’t laughed out loud in a book like this for a long time. I recommend this to anyone hasn’t read it.

Just the Sexiest Man Alive - Julie James

Just the Sexiest Man Alive"Just The Sexiest Man Alive" is one of my favorite novels written by Julie James!

Taylor our heroine is a Chicago Lawyer, who's sent to Las Angeles to take on a lawsuit. Jason the hero of the novel,is "The Sexiest Man Alive",his role is being a snooty movie star, thinking all woman can't wait to drop their panties anywhere for him. In this story,Taylor puts the stop to his major ego. I Loved it!

Taylor proves to Jason she won't drop to her knees and devour over him. She,amongst all woman doesn't care if he's a major celebrity.Once that finally kicks in and Jason realizes he can't win Taylor over with his sexy charms. He loves her for all the right reasons and sees in her what he doesn't see in other woman, loyalty, honesty and beauty. Taylor is Jasons, lustful charm.Of course just like many story plots, the hero has impeccable timing and ruins the relationship, but it takes a strong heroine to forgive and forget and mend things back to the way they were.Hollywood is a handful of craziness. This couple dishes out the good and the bad on being a celeb and lawyer trying to make their relationship work. It's obvious, the two fall in love. Yay!!! I love my HEA's!

My Favorite quote/motto in this novel was "SHIT HAPPENS" When I read or hear that phrase,my mind jumps and I think about this book :) It's a fantastic way of expressing ones feeling without going into details. I Lurve it!!! Lol!

I loved this novel more than others that I've read by this author, but she has a wonderful way of writing a Chick-Lit romance and wanting a reader to ask "Are there more novels written by this author?" My answer,"Yes there is" Lolz!

DARK HUNTER TO BE ADAPTED!!

OMG! I just found this article, its been around a while but I have had my head stuck in the sand. This is awesome news! Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter and Chronicals Of Nick are set to be adapted! This is so exciting! But I ask this.... Who could possible ever live up to Ash?
I have attached the document for your reading pleasure!

Amber pacts with paranormal novelist Kenyon

Shingle will develop films, TV and webisodes

Amber Entertainment has signed a partnership with prolific paranormal novelist Sherrilyn Kenyon to develop and produce films, television and webisodes based on her books.
First project to be developed is "Chronicles of Nick," based on the young adult series. In the first book, "Infinity," 14-year-old Nick Gautier discovers that the football team has been turned into zombies, sets out to stop the attacks and learns he has a key role in an unseen world.

Kenyon will serve as producer alongside Ileen Maisel, founding partner of Amber.

"As a longtime fan of the films that both Ileen Maisel and Mark Ordesky have produced, I couldn't be more excited," Kenyon said. "I look forward to working with them to make my characters flesh-and-blood people."

Kenyon has penned more than 60 novels. Her "Dark-Hunter" vampire series has sold more than 22 million copies and been adapted into a manga published by St. Martins, while her Lords of Avalon novels have been adapted by Marvel comics.

The Kenyon pact is part of the strategy Amber has pursued of acquiring and converting recognizable properties, such as novels by Gerald Browne, Judy Blume and Jackie Collins into films, with the authors becoming partners in the productions. Amber, founded three years ago, is headed by former New Line execs Maisel, Ordesky and Jane Fleming along with Lawrence Elman.

Amber's Maisel and Elman are teamed with Julian Fellowes ("Gosford Park") to produce Carlo Carlei's "Romeo and Juliet" with Douglas Booth and Hailee Steinfeld. It's in post on "Possession" with Haxan with "Blair Witch" director Eduardo Sanchez helming.

Kenyon was repped in the deal by Erica Spellman Silverman at Trident Media Group on behalf of Robert Gottlieb.

My newest U Tube Video!

Chain Reaction - Simone Elkeles

http://www.simoneelkeles.net/

Luis Fuentes is a good boy who doesn’t live with the angst that his big brothers, Alex and Carlos, have always lived with. Luis is smart, funny, and has big dreams of becoming an astronaut. But when he falls for the wrong girl, Luis enters a dark world he’s never known, and just when he thinks he’s got life all figured out, learns some disturbing news about his family that destroys his positive outlook on life. Will that Fuentes bad boy streak come out with a vengeance and lure Luis to live on the edge like his new girlfriend and his own father?

Continuing all the steamy romance of the first two books, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Simone Elkeles gives fans one more satisfying taste of the irresistible Fuentes boys.

Chain Reaction (Perfect Chemistry, #3)OMG! How hot are the Fuentes brothers!! I managed to get my grips on a picture of the three guys used as the brothers, and their just all so delightful!
The third book in this series is just as good, if not better than the last two in the series! The Fuentes boys are back, and their smoking! You will not be disappointed with Luis; he is one smoking Mexican lover. Luis isn’t quite a naughty as his brothers but what he does love is a good thrill! Luis is an adrenaline Junkie to the extreme.
We got to see a good chunk of Alex and Carlos life now and where there at with the partners from their own books. It’s great when Authors do this. We all make a connection to each of the characters so it only seems fit to have an update on them in each book. I love all the brothers’ personalities, but I think I like Carlos the best. They all have an amazing dedication to their family and will go to the ends of the world to protect those who they love. And who couldn’t just melt into a big puddle with all the endearments they use for their women.... sigh.....
Luis and Nikki’s relationship is just all over the place! Both are holding back major info from one another but at the same time the heat from these two thumps of the pages. My favourite scene is one that takes place in a pool house at a party - I was found in a catatonic state on the floor after reading this scene. HAWT!
I can hand down say that, Elkeles is one of the best YA authors of our time. How can I put this? Elkeles writes about teenagers, like it really is. None of this ‘Pure Virgin Princess Bride’ bull. These are raging hormonal teenagers, that yeah – wanna and are gonna have sex. They have parents that don’t approve; they have real friends that don’t agree. It’s not perfect to be a teenager and Elkeles portrays that perfectly.
I’m hoping and praying that this is not the end for this series. At the end of the book you get a snippet into a potential new story, I’m hoping this carries through.
Wonderful story and a fantastic book. If you haven’t read this series yet, you my friends are missing out.

Chain ReactionCan I get a little wha,wha....? FUENTES BROTHERS BABY!

I
thought the series might die down knowing that this 3rd novel, was about Luis. He's suppose to be the goodie two shoes in the family.BUT HOT DAYUMMMMM!!!!!!!! I'm in La-La Land! I've never loved a Ya-series as much as I loved this series! Some one pass me a "Get Out Jail Free Card" Cause I might one day jump one of these brothers *for personnel reasons* LMAO!!!!!!!! Simone Elkeles is too good to her readers, she knows excatly how we like it and how we want it.MMMMMM.......

I Just have one question. How is it in the blurbs and other reviews everyone mentions , Luis runs and gets involved with a bad girl? That is so not true. They Both have baggage. At least she wasn't the kind of chick into drugs and partying and all that other teenage bad girl stuff that was going on in this book. I liked her. Ok,made my point. NEXT!

Holy Mother Of Unholiness! We get more then the average joe story plot in this novel. For instance.

Alex and Brit: Marriage and babies...Swoons! Can I claim his babies? His baby boy has me wrapped around his fingers,he can smooch and drool on my cheeks any day! hehehehehe.....

Carlos and Kira: Major issues, but love them forever and always. LOL!! Just like Carlos would say "make-up sex" is always worth the wild...ahahahaha....

Now as for Luis and Nikki: Nikki reminds me of myself,I'm so generic it's pathetic! ROTFLMAO!!!!!! She claims she's not Mexican but she is,and I claim I'm Spanish, but never show what I'm truly made of,don't know why =P OK! Back to my point! I love that Luis is totally into his culture, and doesn't let anyone tell him he's not. LOVE IT! These two combined set each others fireworks off. Nikki has a strong "FU" Vibe and Luis has an "I'll FU Vibe" It doesn't get better than that. 2years later after they meet at Alex's wedding, they bump into one another during their Senior Year at Fairfield High. Nikki has a past and doesn't trust any guy who tries to get near her.But she feels a strong connection with Luis. Luis is determined to get what he wants,in a very good boy fashion way till,Nikki keeps pushing him away.So that's when his Bad Boy persona releases. AND even I can't deny the desire!

Well,to keep my review short and spoiler free, let me just say. It's Truely Suspenseful and heart breaking. There is major Family togetherness that will bring you down to your knees.(Loved how this family sticks together.)Romance, and so much more....... If you started the series and haven't finished it. Stop being lazy and pick it up,Or Else......I will harass anyone I know if they haven't finished the series yet.LOLZ! Ya'll know who you are! =P

To all teens out there..Simone Elkeles has written a wonderful series that any teen can relate too. Remember we're not all perfect.Shite happens,it's up to everyone of of you to pick up the pieces in your life and make something of yourselves. And it can all start with just a book

BTW!!!!!! I'm so grateful that Alex and Carlos are in their 20's now.So I can officially put this novel on my "Quiver Shelf" Ahhhh...nice! hehehehe
